Monday Meme- Who does your AV look like in RL?

So this meme actually started in plurk, and then it made its way into Berry's weekly meme, and well, I kind of had to do it, because.. I feel like it's been forever since I've blogged between being sick all the freaking time and work. So.. I made a quick nude picture.. that you're only seeing the top cuz :> Enough sexy for a bit, right? Right. So.. yeah, there it is. All cute! 

When I made the shape for this av, my inspiration was actually Coco Rocha I seriously love that girl! In beauty, she's flawless, I adore the fact that she has dark hair and light eyebrows, and them eyes! Urgh, she's just flawless, and the features she has are gorgeous, and personailty wise.. she really is something, she's not afraid to be herself weird, funny, awkward, and she is not afraid to have a personality behind her picture. Out of all the models out there, she's got to be my favorite one, so of course there's certain elements of hers that I transfered into my avatar. For starters, the eyes, and the shape for the most part remains always the same. I did add freckles though, because.. well, I have a love affair with freckles. 

So.. yup, that's my inspiration for my avatar.. as far as who that website says I look like.. I'm afraid, last picture I tried with said that I looked like Al Gore, George W Bush, and freaking John McCain. Scary. And... I had a reason to be afraid... Denzel Washington? Really? Like.. are.you.serious? :/ Looks like I had a reason to be scared. Make sure to.. have your laughs using that generator, it's just ridiculous. 

Release wise.. there's not much.. the nails are cute, I rarely blog nails because the detail gets lost, but.. A:S:S (yup, I giggle at the name too) Has some amazing black nails that also work well for guy av's.. if you're into nail art. Amala has this cute little set (jewelry) That's just.. simple but amazing, the detail job on it and the textures are flawless, love it. And.. that's it? Yup! Have a good week guys!

Another Monday is upon us, and another meme by Berry. Now.. personally, I like those that force us to be creative, and this week did just that.. welp. We had to make a meme, into a meme, for a meme post.. if that even makes sense? Memeception, basically. I thought for a while, and just.. poses make it difficult, and face in Sl, because.. let's face it, the little facial expression thing for SL basic shape sucks, and I'm not rich so I can't and won't buy a mesh head. I'd buy a sim before I do that. But anyways! I started to talk to people, and then I felt sad face, I was like.. if only I were a true fashionista like Berry, this wouldn't be an issue. Welp. Why not arrow to the knee meme? Score. And it's early enough that I can do this and be the original one that came up with it. I'm going to glare at someone if they did this too! But anways, there it is, my meme!

I am so in love with this Collab round guys! Fall! Fall stuff, I so so so love it. Secre store scallop sweater is to die for, I actually fat packed this and I rarely fat pack, and this cute little leather skirt from Tres Blah, just.. how adorbs is it?! I love it. I thought together they actually made a perfect ensamble, because truth be told, I didn't care much for the top that Tres Blah made this round.. I know.. shocker, it's one of the first things that she made that I didn't completely love. I paired off the look with shoes from Fri.day, just because.. the whole new shoe like Darling Monday is doing is just.. well.. darling, and I adore the fact that I can do the mesh feet with it and never have to take them off. And hair from Truth. Guys.. he's doing the whole pack of normals now, it's a little on the steep side, but.. I think more designers should get on this band wagon! I love having options for hair color and not having to buy in the future and rebuild my hair folder. Best.Idea.Ever.

Slytherin' Up with a 42.

So it really shouldn't be a surprise that I love anything and everything Harry Potter. But.. well.. I should seriously change that. I don't love Harry Potter. I love the Death Eaters, and Voldemort, and the Malfoys, and Slytherin. So with school starting up, and also Mischief Managed about to start a new school year, I decided to do a small Slytherin look for my blog today, because.. I mean, why wouldn't I?

One of my favorite activities in Second Life is roleplaying. Before I got into blogging, and before I started to try to be a wanna be builder, all I did was roleplay. This goes back like.. Oh God guys.. 2006? I started out in Gor, like a lot of people, and then started moving towards either Hogwarts sims, or Urban sims. I still remember my first Hogwarts, with Harry Prefect and Darcy Ruthledge as owners. I met some amazing people there that I still keep in contact.. at times, I have to admit, I'm so shy at times I don't, but! I still keep in touch and love them, and have very fund memories of them. Now, I find myself in an awesome Hogwarts inspired sim, that is just so breath taking and well built, I guess it would be the closest thing to being in Hogwarts for real. I adore this sim, and I actually can't wait to be a part of the new school year! I'm going to be around amazing friends, new and old, and I think it's going to be fantastic. 

So.. I guess this ties in with the group meme that Berry posted this week, because as a blogger, wanna be builder, and a role player, juggling group spots is sooo hard! So I thought I'd give a crack at the meme this week. Here we go!

1. Have you reached the 42 group limit? Yup. All the time, regardless how many times I try to clean up! Welp.
2. Do you do a lot of group hopping to keep up with all the groups you want to stay a part of? Yup, it's the only way to try to be able to manage them, really.
3. What makes you want to join a group? Either they have to be a designer that I completely and totally love, a roleplay community I'm very active in, or blogger groups. With designers moving to subscriber style things that send you the item instead of you having to join a group it's starting to become easier to manage. Still though.. designers that don't use this system- PLEASE DO! Kay? Kay. I am so glad we had this talk.
4. A lot of store VIP groups have a group fee which you have to pay to join. How do you feel about paying group fees? I'm not a huge fan of group fees either. Though.. i guess.. at very few places it's worth it. The only two groups that I've joined that have group fees are Auxiliary, Mon Tissu, and Gos. The only reason is because the benefits surely do outweigh the cost. Though I'm starting to double thing about Mon Tissu, that was a hefty joining fee, and very little for it, I'll be honest. 
5. Name a few groups that you are a part of that you feel everyone should look into joining and share your reasons behind that.
   –>Mischief Managed - why? Because Harry Potter. Need I say more? I've always wanted to embark in my own Hogwarts story, and I finally get the chance to do it, so.. if you're an uber Harry Potter fan like I am.. join! But keep in mind.. Slytherin are the only cool people. If you're not Slytherin, you're really not part of the cool group. Specially if you're a badger. LOOKING AT YOU SCARLET CHANDRAYAAN!
   –> Auxiliary VIP group. You get free gifts often, and even though you have to pay a joining fee, Tyr and Ivy's designs are amazing. Love them.
   –> Noodles VIP group. Because.. Nat is an amazing jewelery designer, and she gives store credit for your purchases if you're wearing your VIP tag, and free group gifts. Just for a small joining fee. So of course it's worth joining!
   –> SLBlogger support if you're a blogger is a must! You get to keep up with the community and what's going on, and there's always someone there if you have questions, and they have a nifty little website that keeps up with everything blogger. Love that group.

So.. due to technical difficulties, I missed last meme, but.. fear no more! I am doing these weeks! Now that we have gotten the difficult.. well.. some of it anyways, stuff out of the way, we can move on to light hearted crap once more, all while trying to keep the promise we made in the last challenge. Positive, and crap like that? Kidding :D But.. yes, it's time for us to have some fun! Here we go to Berry's questions, followed by some more random crap by.. yours truly. And also.. just because I'm genuinely proud of how this turned out.. I'm including a raw shot, cus.. yeah.. I didn't know I could do this. RAW SHOT TIME.

What is your birthday and/or Zodiac sign? – November 24th, I'm a Sagittarius. Hence the pic!  

Do you believe in or follow astrology? – Not really, no.. I mean, sometimes I do it for fun, but most of the time, I think it's just lucky guesses. Lucky broad guesses. So I guess that's really it? However, sometimes it's really really fun to look up at stuff online and be like.. *welp* That's sooo me! Or "Omg, that's sooo true!" And then you forget it and go on with your daily activities pretty much. 

Do you feel your sign’s attributes reflect who you are? – Free spirted, and extremely loyal. Honest to a fault, and extremely clumsy. :/ I'm kinda out of luck, aren't I? At least I'll have fun being lead blindly to my doom? Kinda feels like that's what it's meant to be.... but.. joking aside! They say we're good leaders, I don't feel like I am though, I tend to be quieter, and just.. stay to myself, I'm scared of hurting others, so... yeah.. that good leader thing.. not so much. 

Have you ever been to a psychic or astrologer either in RL or in SL (are there any in SL?) No, kind of want to go though! Just for the lol's, of course.

Do you read your horoscope daily and try to follow any advice, recommendations or warnings it may have for you that day? They still do the daily thing with advice and what is going to happen this week? *welp* well, there's your answer, folks! 

Do you have very strong feelings about astrology, either negative or positive? Not really, they're fun to read.. but that's just about it, I don't believe in them, run my life by them, or anything.. I just do my own thing. 

Yay! This week was short! I guess I don't have much to say on the subject.. but.. the quote I used on my picture, I thought it represents what is said about Sagittariuses in a positive way. It's said by Richard Bach, a writer, and whether you're a Sagittarius or not.. this quote is beautifully inspiring. "Dream what you dare to dream, Go where you want to go, be what you want to be. Live." Gorgeous, and rings soooo true for anyone! 

Other than that.. Collab just opened up.. and the lovely Inka Mexicola, my new wife, might I add.. just.. don't even ask. There was eloping, and crying and lots of love, but.. whatever, she named this skin after me, and I felt so special.. cus.. no one has ever named anything after me, so.. waterworks, and crap like that, but.. the skin comes in different make up sets, or you can make your own like I do, and add all kinds of stuff to it, like my freckles and beauty marks. Natalee Oodles also made a wonderful set in memory of Millie Gears that's worth picking up for sure. I mean.. headbands. We all know how that gets me excited. Finally, this little set by Rose is creating quite a stir, and it's available at SL Fashion week! So make sure to go and grab yours so you don't feel left out! That's really about all for today guys! Rumor Has It

Rumor has it that FateWear is coming out with a new line. It's going to be called FatePlay. Really, I'm extremely excited over this. I love Damien's style, so when I heard that he would be coming out with something that girls could wear, and something that was really well made.. well... I fan girled a little. I know I shouldn't but.. yeah, I did. First of all, I love his stuff, second of all, one of the things I hate about rp'ing medieval style, or anything of the sort.. there's not enough quality mesh out there! So this is huuuuuge if you're a roleplayer, and really a must have. the quality of the clothes is what you'd expect about of Damien, nothing but the best, and in all honesty, this makes me want to rp again. So that's one of the rumors floating around, that is nothing short of completely true! FatePlay Mainstore will open in the FateIsland sim, and with it, you'll be able to get some of his most popular costume- like releases for Fantasy Fair, in different colors! So.. make sure to be able to get into that as soon as it opens! You really don't want to be left behind.

Rumor also has it that Berry has done another Meme challenge. This week is all about Bucketlists. I guess this has a specially space in my heart because.. Talia Castellano has passed away from her battle with cancer. You might remember her for this little bit: 

At any rate, I was really sad to hear she passed, but she did leave behind her bucketlist. It was posted on facebook, and you can find it in that link, and the idea is.. we do her bucketlist for her. Just one, or all of the things, it doesn't matter, but I think that list really makes us realize how beautiful life is, and how to appreciate the little things in life. Pesonally, me this weekend, I'll be sending a message in a bottle, I can't wait! But.. now I have to think of an SL bucketlist. And this wasn't easy, guys, specially since in SL, you are free to do as you wish, and so many of my things have already come true.. it's hard to pick a couple.. so.. I guess I'll try, don't sue me if it turns out to just be funny, because.. I can't think of anything and I'll be probably writting it down while it comes to my mind. Don't hate too hard!

1. Remove all bling, body oil, and clicky heels from the grid. Bothing bothers me in sl more than this, seriously, I see it, and I want to stab my eyes out. Bling is not cute, no matter how you put it. It wasn't cute in 07, muchless now. Body oil makes me think you need a shower. And the clickie shoes thing.. just.. urgh, heels don't sound so loud, if I can hear from the other end of the store, I'm going to think you're King Kong in heels. No. Just no. I would love to figure out a way to murder these things out of the grid. 

2. I'm probably going to get hell for this but.. I would have fun making a script to pop huge prim boobies: Dear God. You've probably seen it, the boobs that are bigger than the whole body. I want to get a needle and pop them. I know.. I know this sounds terrible, but.. that's the only thing I can think of. It would be so much fun to like.. make a needle that would pop them. :x that's all I'm saying, I'm going to get the Tango girls after my butt for this. I sorry! 

3. Own a Harry Potter adult sim: Okay, so what i mean by this is.. there's much more to Harry Potter than Hogwarts, don't get me wrong, love me some Hogwarts, but the kiddy rp.. not always my style, sometimes I want to have some evil wicked dark witch fun. And not have to teach. A ministry sim, and everything would be awesome! with a muggle London around too so people can rp muggles too, that would be sooooo much fun! Yeah.. pervs, you thought I was going for sexy time. Psyche! 

4. Own a prefab store: I'm trying really really hard to learn how to make mesh, so I want to open up a prefab home store. It would be fun, and I think sl needs more of the selection for family homes, so yeah! that's one of the dreams I'm working to achieve. 

5. Stay away from drama: Lol, if only it could happen. SL is always going to be filled with drama. I just.. I wish I could stay away from it, and not even hear about it for a week. Too much to ask? Urgh.

So that's really all I can think of, and... we'll see if that even ever happens, but.. they're cool ideas! Maybe one day. Until then, I'll keep up with my blogging and learning how to work photoshop. Enjoy the credit guys!
