Rumor Has It

Rumor has it that FateWear is coming out with a new line. It's going to be called FatePlay. Really, I'm extremely excited over this. I love Damien's style, so when I heard that he would be coming out with something that girls could wear, and something that was really well made.. well... I fan girled a little. I know I shouldn't but.. yeah, I did. First of all, I love his stuff, second of all, one of the things I hate about rp'ing medieval style, or anything of the sort.. there's not enough quality mesh out there! So this is huuuuuge if you're a roleplayer, and really a must have. the quality of the clothes is what you'd expect about of Damien, nothing but the best, and in all honesty, this makes me want to rp again. So that's one of the rumors floating around, that is nothing short of completely true! FatePlay Mainstore will open in the FateIsland sim, and with it, you'll be able to get some of his most popular costume- like releases for Fantasy Fair, in different colors! So.. make sure to be able to get into that as soon as it opens! You really don't want to be left behind.

Rumor also has it that Berry has done another Meme challenge. This week is all about Bucketlists. I guess this has a specially space in my heart because.. Talia Castellano has passed away from her battle with cancer. You might remember her for this little bit: 

At any rate, I was really sad to hear she passed, but she did leave behind her bucketlist. It was posted on facebook, and you can find it in that link, and the idea is.. we do her bucketlist for her. Just one, or all of the things, it doesn't matter, but I think that list really makes us realize how beautiful life is, and how to appreciate the little things in life. Pesonally, me this weekend, I'll be sending a message in a bottle, I can't wait! But.. now I have to think of an SL bucketlist. And this wasn't easy, guys, specially since in SL, you are free to do as you wish, and so many of my things have already come true.. it's hard to pick a couple.. so.. I guess I'll try, don't sue me if it turns out to just be funny, because.. I can't think of anything and I'll be probably writting it down while it comes to my mind. Don't hate too hard!

1. Remove all bling, body oil, and clicky heels from the grid. Bothing bothers me in sl more than this, seriously, I see it, and I want to stab my eyes out. Bling is not cute, no matter how you put it. It wasn't cute in 07, muchless now. Body oil makes me think you need a shower. And the clickie shoes thing.. just.. urgh, heels don't sound so loud, if I can hear from the other end of the store, I'm going to think you're King Kong in heels. No. Just no. I would love to figure out a way to murder these things out of the grid. 

2. I'm probably going to get hell for this but.. I would have fun making a script to pop huge prim boobies: Dear God. You've probably seen it, the boobs that are bigger than the whole body. I want to get a needle and pop them. I know.. I know this sounds terrible, but.. that's the only thing I can think of. It would be so much fun to like.. make a needle that would pop them. :x that's all I'm saying, I'm going to get the Tango girls after my butt for this. I sorry! 

3. Own a Harry Potter adult sim: Okay, so what i mean by this is.. there's much more to Harry Potter than Hogwarts, don't get me wrong, love me some Hogwarts, but the kiddy rp.. not always my style, sometimes I want to have some evil wicked dark witch fun. And not have to teach. A ministry sim, and everything would be awesome! with a muggle London around too so people can rp muggles too, that would be sooooo much fun! Yeah.. pervs, you thought I was going for sexy time. Psyche! 

4. Own a prefab store: I'm trying really really hard to learn how to make mesh, so I want to open up a prefab home store. It would be fun, and I think sl needs more of the selection for family homes, so yeah! that's one of the dreams I'm working to achieve. 

5. Stay away from drama: Lol, if only it could happen. SL is always going to be filled with drama. I just.. I wish I could stay away from it, and not even hear about it for a week. Too much to ask? Urgh.

So that's really all I can think of, and... we'll see if that even ever happens, but.. they're cool ideas! Maybe one day. Until then, I'll keep up with my blogging and learning how to work photoshop. Enjoy the credit guys!

Hair Fair Pt. II

I did warn that I got a lot of hair, right? I think so... well, more hair fair!

Hair Fair.. honestly one of the biggest events of the year. I get so giddy when I see it come about. And I still have more hair. Really, this is only part II and I'm not even blogging all the goodies I got, only my favorite styles that I found. I'm still irked because I keep hearing people say that it wasn't good. Like.. I suppose everyone is entitled to their opinion. Yet at the same time, I have those friends ask me where I got the hair I'm wearing. I'm just all like.. Err... well... Hair fair, it's magical. I have lost count of how many times I've sent people packing to hair fair, like.. come on guys! Walk through it! There's soooo many new names just.. It makes me sad to see that you're not taking the full advantage, and discovering! There's so much more to hair than Exile, and Wasabi Pills, and Lelutka, and Truth. 

Now, don't get me wrong. I love those stores guys, prove is here, all three releases of Lelutka are in my favorites' list, but.. I guess I just tried to go out of my comfort zone and see what else there was. Like.. Baiatice and Auxiliary being in the line up. Ummm... Excuse me! Since when? And I'm not saying this is a bad manner, far from it, they're two of my favoirte stores, so... if anything I just got really excited. And they didn't disappoint me! Far from it, I was excited to see what they came out with. I know that Auxiliary has dabbled in hair before, just never seen something like this. And the Baiatice hair, well, that's for sure worth a second look. Then you have Alice Project. A lot of the times, her hair doesn't really fit my style, and it took me forever to color my hair because I bought the Create Your Own instead of Infinity, and tried using my infinity HUD on it. Well. Woops. These two hair styles though left me drooling. Alice really outdid herself for hair fair. 

Lelutka, dear God. Lelutka can't ever do wrong in my eyes when it comes to hair, and one of them had a fades pack, I literally just threw my hands up in the hair and said good bye to my money, and bought. Loved. Eaters Coma also had a really nice release. They're not a huge name in  hair yet, but I think they should be, a lot of their releases are just so cute, I totally love. And Last but not least, Clawtooth. I'm a huge Clawtooth fan, and I've blogged a couple of the Hair Fair looks as well, So.. yup! That's rounds off Part Two of Hair Fair. Stay tuned for the second part. After I really get some sleep. All this editing is making me die. A little. Each day. Kidding, but! Exciting news! Big huge exciting news! Truth has new stuff, and even though they're getting rid of truth district, which is a shame... really, like.. where the heck are we supposed to shop from next when he's having a sale?! Well, there's new hair textures, which are to DIE for, and not only that.. are you ready? I mean.. are you really really ready? Because when I read this in Berry's blog, I about seriously pooped my pants guys, and like.. really, I never use poop when blogging, but this is some really serious business!

Lately I've been obsessed with this song. Don't hate, I get my fevers, and being around one of my best friends, well, I can't help but sing Disney all the time. She inspires me. So, today, I finally bought two things I really wanted. The Zaara dress, and the Slink eyelids. I know.. I know.. I'm slow, but damnit! Girls have budgets! And forgetful minds when shiny lindens come her way! But still, I put a cute little look together, and blogged it, I wanted it to be more like being in the wind, and relaxed.. serene, I have to admit, the lids and the dress really inspired me. So.. I sat in the park in our sim that the lovely Natalee Oodles made, and I took this wonderful shot, and worked on it really fast to get this out, because I'm sick, and if I have to go to the doctors and stay there forever, damn it! My Inner Ears Must Be Showing!

Not only are my ears showing, but.. my inner child must be begging to come out! Oh well, such is life, I suppose. I can't get enough Disney Bounding, and while waiting rather impatiently for Collabor88 with friends of mine taunting me about it, I decided I would say a big f u to them, and instead of sitting down in a corner, rocking myself while sobbing impatiently for Collab to open, I would get my inner Mickey on, and show them. And so I did! Ears and all. And with this, I guess I should catch up with my haiku challenge from Berry, right? The Girl I Want To Be

Lately I've been feeling melancholic guys, partially might be because of the date and how close it is to my daughter's birthday, or it could be a mix of that and what's going on currently in my life. But right now.. I don't feel like I'm no longer the person I wanna be. I've got a picture of the girl I wanna be, dancing around in my head. Sad song, lovely, and really sums up how I feel right now.

Anywho, I'm still head over heels with this cuff from epoque. I don't know, I don't think I've actually taken it off since I bought it, oh well. I'll wash it. The Gos flip flops are seriously a must guys, I wear flip flops in RL all the time, so for me this is just.. amazeballs. There's a new release from R3VOLT again, they've got releases like.. more than one a day, crazy! But I love this strappy top, and it's fully costumizeable, the traps, the rings, all that changes is the black bands, totally love. SL Disney Bounding- YOU THREW OFF MY GROOVE!

So, SL Bounding continues, this week's challenge - Kuzco. Boom, baby! Boo-yeah! I so freaking love this movie! So.. I started to struggle with this one some.. how can you make it hot, fun, and free spirited? Difficult challenge indeed. I started with the color palette, the turquoise, gold, and red, and black. Started with the hair because.. it's the easiest thing in there. So this is Exile, love them. Then I decided.. try every dress! The one that had the flair that I was going for is by milk motion, past Dressing Room Fusion item, in red, of course! It just had the long feel to it, the emperor commanding style.. settled for sandals.. well.. somewhat.. by Gos, and the jewelry is a mix of Zaara and Epoque, coordinated in Kuzco's color theme.  I can't wait for next week's challenge !So psyched!

God I'm in a Jack White mood, and this song.. so lovely for this look. She does what she pleases, cus she's got freedom in the 21st century! Hopefully you don't cut the balls of the feet and make them walk on salt though!
I'm still exploring with photoshop, and having some fun with it. I'm starting to get the hang of it now! Hooray! So.. I decided to go for a normal, short and sweet LOTD for today. First off, I'm loving the stuff by r3volt. I'm normally very conservative, but with a new character, new tastes, and.. God I love this studed bra! Lace, and studs. How much sexier can you get? I have Jeans  from Mon Tissu, as well as their boots, the cuff by epoque, which I seriously love, specially the cross style pattern on it. And.. I h ad to use these wings for something, they're by Remarkable Oblivion, and I saw them on a close friend, and I just had to have them. Love them! I also thought it was as good of a time as any to start these blogger challenge meme things.. I always mean to do them, but I forget.. so.. here we go! This is why I blog!

Why did you start?

I had a couple people around me blogging, and I was learning photoshop. Thought it was a good way to meet new people, share my design styles, learn how to work photoshop, and.. have fun. 

How many times a week do you post an entry?
I try to do it daily, obviously, sometimes it's impossible, but I do try. 

How many different blogs do you read on a regular basis?All the time, I read StyleMinions, Strawberry's, I read the ones that come up on Plurk, I ready the syndicates.. yeah.. I'm a dork. 

Do you comment on other people’s blogs?I'm so shy about that! Only when I have something serious to say! I'm honestly like.. uber shy, so it's hard for me to break out of my shell at times. Heck, I just managed to do so in Plurk, to be able to be a confident blogger.. that's going to take a while guys! 

Do you keep track of how many visitors you have?
I do, it gives me a giddy feeling that what I do seriously matters and others appreciate it. 

Did you ever regret a post that you wrote?
No. I regret the pictures though! Like.. looking back at my progress, I just want to be like.. God.. did I seriously think that looked good?

Do you think your readers have a true sense of who you are based on your blog?
I think so. I try to be myself at all times, I mean.. no use on hiding that, right? But it's weird because written words don't always come out how you mean them. 

Do you blog under your real name?
I only blog under my SL name, which is close to my rl one.. First name only, but still. 

Are there topics that you would never blog about?
If I don't like it, I don't blog it. Sorry guys! I know you all worked hard on it, but.. this is a reflection of my personal style and my taste, not only an advertising machine. 

What is the theme/topic of your blog?
Fashion! 

Do you have more than one blog? If so, why?
Nope, just this one! But I also write for the metaverse tribune! 

What have you found to be the benefits of blogging?

There's the obvious ones, of course.. Like you do get some nice stuff sometimes from kind designers, but I think the biggest perk for me has been to force myself out of my shy exterior and open myself more to the world of SL, meet new people that I would never have had the courage to speak with, and there's also the fact that every day I'm growing and learning as style is concerned, as well as my photography skills. 

So, why do you continue to blog?
Because I love it, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Hiding My Heart Away

Sometimes it's easier to hide. From the things around you, from your feelings, from others. I guess the basic reason for it is the fact that.. we're afraid. Deep down we're all afraid. Afraid of rejection, afraid of being judged, afraid of looking like a fool. Fear is a powerful emotion, and many of us, instead of facing it head on.. we hide.

Now, you all know that I'm very much for classy looks, nothing over styled, and feminine and elegant at the same time. So that's what I'm doing with this post! I'm bringing you girly cute, with a very simple elegance to it. You don't always have to look like you have a stick up your ass to look elegant, sometimes you can style something in a very effortless manner to get the same effect.

Le fil casse is bringing new dresses to collabor88. In all honesty, I struggled with it, it's a very difficult print to work with, and I didn't want to do the obvious and just style it with a necklace, some pumps, and voila.. I wanted it to look. original, after all.. tube dresses are like.. everywhere! I paired it off with a cute jacket from Bilo that kind of brought forth the color, and also brought the look together. I also added some tights to keep it.. you know, classy and reserved, and then the shoes actually have a soft floral pattern to it, so I chose those to play some more with the floral theme of the outfit. I wanted also some long necklaces, and the Maxi Gossamer set for Collabor88 fit he bill perfectly, it's both girly and classic, so it fits the whole outfit quite perfectly. Finally, new hair from wasabi pills! I'm extremely picky about hair.. it's not even funny. Even my favorite stores.. sometimes I see their hairstyles, and it's a complete turn off. However, I totally loved the little side flip with this hair, and yup.. I thin that about is it for today!

Suddenly I See

Why the hell it means so much to me. Those lyrics have always resonated in my mind, and it's also one of the songs for one of my all time favorite songs ever! The Devil Wears Prada. I mean, what else is better than Meryl Streep as Myranda Priestly? Honestly.. that movie is amazing, and the intro they did with the song.. one of the best in movie history... if you're into fashion that is. So this morning I challenge you to ask yourself, just why the hell it all means so much to you? May it be blogging, roleplaying, fashion, life, whatever your passion is! Why does it mean so much to you? What inspires you, and motivates you? I'll start. Why does blogging mean so much to me? Easy.. I have always loved SL fashion, from early times in my SL days I've followed main designers and their growth through SL, I've followed the trends, and the improvements, and now I finally get to share one of my passions with everyone, all while growing in my skills in photography and writing. What else could I ask for? It's all of my passions into one little gift package. I honestly have to thank Nicollete Blogger to actually give me the motivation to start in this new found passion of mine.

And with that out of the way, what do I have for you today? COCO! In TDR Fusion! This outfit is just magnificent  If you haven't heard of COCO, let me tell you about them briefly, for years they've been given out gifts in the store that are just amazing. Not only are they extremely generous, all of their wear is available for a very low price, and it's honestly just amazingly good quality stuff! Now that they're breaking out with more mesh goodies, it's always a worth to look at, and this little ensemble in TDR Fusion really got me inspired  just because it's so well mapped, the drape work and the texture work on it is just to die for, and the little fur collar bit with the pearls.. Oh, it's me personified in an accessory. They're available for.. I believe it was 75L each, the dress, and the accessory piece, and it's only available for two short weeks!

I made it a little more winterly by adding tights from Mon Tissu, and an undershirt from Fri.day.

Dream a Little Dream of Me

So... I helped build yesterday, I feel accomplished because I suck at it, and yet I did a pretty ok job at it! So.. all tired and all, I decided to work on the post.. and fell asleep on the computer. Yikes! But.. we made a grungy little fightclub! Yay! So what better way to make it risque than by throwing on some lingerie, and looking sexy there? Yup! My song of inspiration today- Dream a Little Dream of Me. You guessed it. It's so sexy, and for some reason, I'm really into Jazzy Blues songs right now, so you'll just have to deal with it, because they're awesome!

And now for something completely different. Well, not really.. but.. close! I wanted to look smexy, as I said, and there's no better way of doing that then by putting on some lingerie from Blacklace. When I think Lingerie, there's only two names that pop into my mind really, well, foremost, there's Blacklace, and there's TGIS that recently changed names. So, I think this might be the last post before I go away for two weeks. Again, fret not my lovies! Like the Terminator, I will be back!

I'm closing right about now with the day that I started my blog.. a month strong, and still loving it. For this week's collection, I really did fall in love with LaGyo, Clawtooth, and So Many Styles!, All had fabulous additions to the collection that made me feel like I could go for a glam rock kinda look to it. I totally love the vest! It's not something I normally go for, style wise, but.. It's totally cute and really can add the flair that your outfit really needs!

Blurring the Fandoms

Being a huge Harry Potter fan and a huge Doctor Who fan...I felt that it was time to make this post. I absolutely love this TARDIS from HopScotch. It has a million poses in it and is now a constant decoration at my ps studio. I suggest any Whovian who is anyone, really needs to go get this.
