Misread

So Collab just opened, and this round left me.. well.. in shock! First off.. league is in there.. like.. can we all squeal, even if it's just a little bit? I didn't expect that one, huge shocker for me, and I couldn't be happier! That is just too awesome. They have this amazing little sweater dress with a color changing HUD belt thing that is jsut to die for.. like.. a fall must have, and Milk Motion? This over the top cape with the little hat/beanie/whatever the heck you want to call it. Yeah. Adore. But what really shocked me was that Belleza was there. Now, now.. don't be hating on me, but.. well.. how to put this and not make it sound bad because I'm half asleep? This round actually had a lot of new designers in it, that I really didn't expect, but with that they took away some of my favorite ones, and left some that I'm still scratching my head as to the reason why they're there, (Then again, personal taste has a lot to do with it I suppose) But.. all  of that aside, I was just rather shocked to see Belleza there, and pleasantly so when I saw this cute little skin there for only  188L.

Now, I'm THE pickiest person when it comes to skins, Birdy? I find it lacks definition in the skin, and sometimes it's got a weird shade to it, I don't even know how to explain it. Glam Affair? Too soft for my taste, and I find that a lot of her skins look the same, even though she's one of my favorite skin makers. Sue me, I have never been a huge Pink Fuel fan. And Skinnery? Nope. The Store? I actually don't know what people find so fascinating about this skin, and Lelutka? Love the hairs, their skins look weird to me around the bewbies. So.. yeah... Tell me a store, I can point out the flaws in their skins, there are few skins that have been a total hit with me, some are from Essences, no doubt, some from Glam Affair, and some from League. But... this?

I tried it on because SL kept eating my money, and I drooled a little, Shyla, you have outdone yourself with this skin, simple, soft and adorable. My one complain? Your HUD for the hands. I got a little frustrated at having to try to find which hand applier fit to it, but other than that, this is flawless. Love.

Not really what you were expecting, eh? It's okay, I wasn't expecting to go this direction either, but.. somehow it happened. I tried doing something cheeful and happy and very whimsical, and ended up being thrown away and replaced by this. I don't know but.. I just got the idea in my head of a little girl lost in an asylum, escaping to Wonderland. If you look at the floor you can find the Cheshire cat somewhere even. But.. yes.. this ended up being my interpretation of Alice, which is funny, really love the movie, guess sometimes the way we feel in our life manifests through here. A lost person escaping to wonderland. Sounds like me escaping to second life. Oh well.. I did come up with a cute little outfit for it that i hope you love! I don't think the necklace and bracelet are for sale anymore, they were for a limited event, but.. everything else is up for grabs. I just really couldn't help myself, I needed to have them on for this! The pose from Collab also helped give this picture the exact whimsical feel that it needed. So... another week in the hospital, this is getting really old, but I'm finally back. Well, been back since yesterday, just took me a little because I really really wanted to do something good for this post! And I'm actually pretty happy. A lot of things have been happening. For one, HAIR FAIR. I love hair fair, and I was lucky enough to have one of my works selected to be displayed guys! And even though I didn't get to use my early pass for either hair fair bloggers, or my early pass for winning runner up, I am still so happy and humbled to be selected for both, so thanks to the Hair fair theme. And I still managed to shop.. over 20K worth in hair, trust, I'm a shopaholic when it comes to hair, but.. it's worth it guys, a percentage of your sales goes to Wigs for Kids, which also helps other kids with cancer .. well, have wigs! So I love this organization, and I have no problem on dropping a lot of cash to support! Make sure to go and check out Hair Fair this year. It's built in LEGOS. And it's amazing, they outdid themselves. Shame Truth wasn't there, and I don't even wanna know the story, so gossip starters, don't even! I also checked out collab, and that's where the rest of my linden went. Wops. But.. well, Aime actually gave me these cute little fairies, they're so adorable, and they make me cry every time I detach them.. because Aime is a very evil bunny filled with cuteness. I just can't. I wanted to do a follow through the forest kind of theme, reminds me a little of Sleeping Beauty.. following the glowing light to her doom! Except.. they're good fairies... I hope! So I also went to Maitreya and got the jeans.. because.. Maitreya has a sale, and they have the best jeans in grid, so I had to fat pack! All in all, a lot of shopping.

Oh.. yeah.. this skin? The newness of essences. It's so soft and adorable, Cho is a must if you are going for more of a youthful/soft look, or Asian. I went for youthful. And also, a plurker friend sent me these a long time ago, but.. I've been bad! So much going on, but.. doctor who nails. I'm a huuuuge fan of Doctor Who, so.. .yeah, I'm rocking these pretty often. SL Disney Bounding- YOU THREW OFF MY GROOVE!

So, SL Bounding continues, this week's challenge - Kuzco. Boom, baby! Boo-yeah! I so freaking love this movie! So.. I started to struggle with this one some.. how can you make it hot, fun, and free spirited? Difficult challenge indeed. I started with the color palette, the turquoise, gold, and red, and black. Started with the hair because.. it's the easiest thing in there. So this is Exile, love them. Then I decided.. try every dress! The one that had the flair that I was going for is by milk motion, past Dressing Room Fusion item, in red, of course! It just had the long feel to it, the emperor commanding style.. settled for sandals.. well.. somewhat.. by Gos, and the jewelry is a mix of Zaara and Epoque, coordinated in Kuzco's color theme.  I can't wait for next week's challenge !So psyched!

I Was Walking With A Ghost, I Said Please, Please, Don't Insist.

Seems like I'm back, baby. And oh, how good it feels to be back! So.. since I feel like I've really been neglecting this while recovering, and dealing with rl, I'm going to probably be posting a lot, which I guess is good news for people like me that enjoy getting styling ideas. Right? I hope so. I guess with fashion, my number one rule is styling. So.. I wanted to created a kind of rocker outfit to go with the new R3volt military boots that are up for grabs, and I decided to also use one of their laced skirts, which have a cool lacing to them at the side. I decided to grab some old half leather leggings that screamed rock to me, and a rockabilly styled jacket from Mon Tissu, add an accent piece for a necklace, my choice was the elephant necklace from League, and some sunglasses, and.... Tadah!

It's been a while. I know. Real life and Second Life both have been kicking my ass. Inspiration was gone, and I struggled a bit to find my ground again, but.. fear not! I'm back, and bringing in the fashion and awesomeness all over again. Once in fashion, and soon to be seen.

So, enough with the crap, let's get right into it, because.. I think I might have lost my voice again. But.. my fashion tastes is still full gear, and full out. Have you guys checked out Maitreya as of recently? Dear God, I'm totally in love with this dress. So simple, so sexy, and so much statement in one piece, I'm completely head over heels with it. Also, new, is this skin by Maitreya, for the skin fair. I'm loving it. I'm a huuuge fan of Maitreya, and after feeling like someone looked like a clone of me, I had to do something drastic. After buying.. I believe.. 20 skins? I finally found one that totally fits me, and rocks! And finally, in newness news, these shoes by Gos Boutique. I'm a huge fan of Gos boutique. I do love prim feet, really, but one of my pet peeves was always trying to match it to the skin. It's amazing that someone finally heard us out, and created an easy system that has the major skins in sl one clique away, just.. log to your site, pick the skin, and voila, it's all matched for you. No pain, no headaches. No raging. And these shoes.. seriously.. so sexy.

So, I wanted to create a very effortless rock chick look. Classy, sexy, and still looks like you can rock it. I loved the Ariel hairstyle from Lelutka, because.. even though it's from their fairy tale collection, it still looks like you're about to rock some socks off. The bracelet is by Noodles, and I'm sorry, I'm never taking it off. I love it, and it took forever to complete it, and it's by far my favorite piece of jewelry ever. Because I'm a dork. You can try your lock at the Arcade to get all the charms for this amazing little piece! Leggings are the half legging, half leather leggings from Milk motion. I always wanted to have a good outfit to rock them out with, since they're so edgy, and in this outfit, it fits like a glove. Finally added the edgier piece of Maxi Gossamer collection in my inventory, and what you have is this. Badass, but classy. Totally love this.

All I Want Is You

Today's my birthday, and first official day back from Orlando. So no more crappy laptop, no more difficult graphics to work with, just pure awesomeness. Yay! Update on my grandmother, she's doing much better, but sadly, she does have a mass in her stomach the size of a soccer ball, and it is malignant, meaning it's a cancer tumor. Now, because of her age, she can't go through chemo, nor can she handle a major surgery to remove it, so the only course of action doctors have is to give her radiology treatment to stop the growth. She's going for a totally of 18 rounds, she's got 14 left, I think. Meanwhile the mass is pressing against her lungs, and heart, making it difficult for her to breath, or move. Her lungs are producing a lot of liquid, and she's getting drained every other day, around 500-1000 mL each time, so she's in home hospice now. However, she's the strongest woman that I've ever met. At 90, she's not complaining of pain, or anything, she has a strong will, and is stubborn as ever. She says her legacy has been to "Make the bad good, and the good better." To this day she keeps fighting and being strong, and defying every single diagnosis and prognosis thrown at her. God is working a miracle, and I ask that if you believe, you pray for her so that she can still keep this attitude and strength. So, that's where I've been for the last two weeks, hence the lack of activity in both SL and the blog, though I did try to keep up with it while she took naps. Not too well.

Any who, now that explanations are out of the way, I'm doing a quick little post before I go out to celebrate birthday time. Woo! So, TDR is out, and I'm loving milk motion boots, and the Label Motion Pose set that they're selling, so for sure worth a check up at the TDR round up for the week. Auxiliary is also there with the cute little corset that I'm wearing, and I'm a huge fan of that set, I think I have the monochromatic tones of it that I got during the black friday set.

Exile, new release! Normally I'm not a huge fan of accessories in the hair, like flowers, or sea shells or what not. I love bows, scarves, and hats and the sort, but not like.. you know, that kind of additives and stuff. But this hair style is soooo sweet, love how it cascades and with the flowers it gives a truly romantic feel that I completely love.

Finally, Decoy is having a sale until 30th, with some /free/ fatpacks! The jeans I'm wearing are totally and completely free, for a fat pack! And I believe there's also a huge sale going on. Everything in the store is 50% down from the original price. Seriously, RUN! Hair, clothes, shoes, amazing quality and free fat packs, and it's only until the 30th! You only have like six days. RUN!
