O Captain, My Captain- Depression and Farewells.

I struggled for a long time on trying to figure out a good post to make after Robin Williams passed away. I didn't want to make something that was just for doing it, or writing it, I wanted my words and picture to represent something, to be meaningful. Be warned, the post below will contain personal information, and a look into what depression feels like, and why it's important to be aware of this deadly disease, because yes, it is a disease. If you're bothered by either of these themes, this might not be the post for you. 

Robin Williams' death hit me hard, I'm not going to lie, I still cry about it. A lot of people think it's ridiculous, since I didn't know him, but that's the point. We never took the time to get to know the selfless man that gave us laughs and filled our childhood with warm memories. He needed us, and we turned our backs. We didn't see the signs. We lost him too soon. This is what saddens me the most, and having been in that same boat, and having been saved, just, it's devastating. He was a legend. He was one of a kind. The world truly is a little less funny and bright, but as we've seen around, you're free. You're free from the chains of this world, from the guilt, and the hurt, free to be the you you've always desired to be, and to laugh freely like you made us laugh so many times. Rest in peace.

The thing that kills me though, is that not enough light is being shined upon how horrible depression is. He wasn't selfish. One of his last acts was sending a woman overseas a video of himself because meeting him was on her bucket list. He tried to make her laugh in his most desperate moment. If you haven't been through depression, I want you to take away all those thoughts that he was selfish, that sadness is just something you can cure. Get them out of your head right now, and clear them out. This is what depression feels like.

One day, there is something that happens, devastating, or maybe it's been going for a while, bringing lower and lower every day, or perhaps it came alone, suddenly. Regardless, it feels as if you're carrying a boulder on your back. You can't stand up, physically it hurts. Emotionally it hurts. There's a void in your heart, or inside you, it feels like ice. It hurts. It physically freezes you, and it hurts. But you have to keep going. Life goes on. This great boulder on your back, you can't take it off, you have to walk with it all day long, drag yourself step by step. People stare. You know they're talking about you. Not only are they talking about you, it feels like they're adding weight to this great boulder you have to carry. But you can't stop. No. If you stop, then they'll pile more on top of you. You have to run. You have to get away. And finally you do. For a moment you're free. You cry, you let it out. But the weight is still there. You talk to someone you trust, but the weight is still there, even if they have taken a couple of pebbles away from you. 

The day is over. Now is time to head home. Your loved ones are there. They stare at you. It huts. You're hurting them. You know they can see the boulder you're carrying, and they want to take it away from you. They want to carry it for you, but they can't get it off, they say only you can. But you've tried. Desperation sets in. You can't do anything. You're helpless to this great weight that you carry behind you. You can see this boulder growing, and it's going to crush your family too. No. It can't. It's your burden to carry. So you lock yourself up. Withdraw from others. That way, if they can't see you, you can't hurt them. They can't hurt you. It's good, right? No. Your family complains that you hide away. They're worried about you. The internet, your only outlet for freedom, makes fun of you. They "troll" you. You can't do it anymore. The weight is so heavy that it feels like you're suffocating. There must be an end. There must be a way to run away from the pain. You think, and there is. You go online and you find you're not alone. There are others, some urge you to go for help, others give you tips on how to end your suffering. You're at a crossroads now. But you've seek help. The doctors threw around illnesses at you that you knew you didn't have. You knew exactly what you had. Depression. The pills didn't help. You're screaming and they don't hear. Reach for the rope, it's time to end it all. 

This is what depression feels like. This is the road that many have walked. Some have survived. Some have perished and lost their battle with depression. I say to you, please. If you've ever felt like this. If you feel like this right now. Seek help. When you end your life, and that boulder is off your shoulders, it will attach to others around you. It's not worth it. You're not saving anyone. Go to someone, talk, eventually, the rock will fall, pebble by pebble.

And to you all that are in the internet, stop being trolls. There is no excuse to be abusive to others. To you all that find pleasure in humiliating others and shielding under the veil of anonymity, I beg you. Stop. Some of you have attacked me, with my daughter, and it hurts. You all know where to go to make the dagger stick. It's sickening. I'm glad I'm strong enough to only be mildly hurt by it, strong enough to know that you need more help than I do. But I will also say this. One day, one of those hateful messages you write will end a life. You will be the reason, the last drop, the last pebble, the last ounce of required weight that it took that person to be driven to insanity, and to do such a horrible thing. Don't be that person. Instead of attacking, lend a help, help them, they need your help. Instead of ending a life, save a life. 

Let's not forget Robin Williams, let's carry his memory in our hearts, share his gift with others, and use his last act as a lesson on how to be a better human being. On how you're not alone if you're depressed, and how you hurt the world once you're gone. It doesn't solve problems, it creates more. Let's all be a shoulder for others to cry, let's be humans, and take the monsters and devils out of us. Let's help someone that needs it today.

Coming Home.

It's been a long time since I've been here. Sometimes I miss it. Right now I honestly do. Sometimes I get carried away, and think that I want to be with others, and then when I do, something happens, and I realize that it's better to be the hermit that I am. I've been that way for a reason. I don't know how many times I have to hit myself against the same wall before I finally learn. So I've come home. Even if it is for a short while with all the changes coming. God only knows where the wind will take me, but this is for sure, I'll be in charge of where it goes.

To those that brought the drama against me, thank you. You've waken me up. I'm going to plurge my life. Start a new. Go back to the person I am, the one that I like, the one that I'm comfortable with. And to those that try to hate on that, I don't give a crap anymore. I cared too much, I got close to too many of you, and forgot that in the internet, the soul factor is lost. It's like being back in High School, a social climb after another, step over the other to look better, and don't care about the damage. I never did well in High School, it's always taken something major for me to walk away from those that I care about. This is it. No going back. Too many attempts, and it always ends the same. I'm very sorry it has to be that way. I guess from now on I'm coming to sl to do the few things that I love. Creating, photography, and shopping. 

To put the rumors to rest. I barely get blogger packs. The people that I "blog" for, they know my situation, they know sometimes it gets tough for me to do things. I've never done blogging for the free things. I've done it because I love taking pictures. I love sharing. I love opening pieces of myself I'm not comfortable sharing in the real world. I do blogging because I love it. I miss it when I'm designing. But I guess bills have to be paid. And as a designer, I'll be fully transparent with this. Why don't we send out blogger samples to groups? For quality control, for one. There are events with more than 3 times the amount of bloggers. I share with those whose work I enjoy, and let others shop. Nothing personal, but I have to make a living myself. Secondly, because we already have a blogger group, and we need to make a living. Sure, it sounds rough, and crude, but it's the truth. I don't go around asking for free stuff, I spend way too much money in SL, and out of the very few things that I do get for free, I'm very thankful, and try to showcase them at least in a plurk to give some sort of notoriety. I feel guilty receiving free stuff, and even with friends, if I want something they've made, I buy it. The rumors of me making that stupid plurk are ridiculous. That's all I have to say about it. I've shown proof it wasn't me. Now I'm saying my peace about it. I hope the topic dies, it's been very hurtful. I have fallen jaded towards a lot of my friends. I honestly can't deal with them at the moment, the thought that they would help the rumor grow, instead of ask me about it, help me figure it out, and whisper behind my back is heart breaking. The fact that they believed it so blindly, and wrongly, just breaks me. I still cry about that, I"m not going to lie. It's been a rough couple days, I've even lost my desire to work. So I hope that's the end of this. 

In hopes of you that don't know me too well, to know me a bit better, and hopefully stop something like this to spread in the future, I've decided to do Berry's meme. So let's give it a try. And guys.. I'm not a terrible person. I have my moments, my flares of anger, my moments of annoyance. I'm human. But please, in the future, isntead of sitting there gossiping about me. Come to me. Ask me, let's save the heart ache. And if it happens to someone else, I hope this is a learning experience of how to handle it. I know for me it is. Not that I would ever accuse a friend that I know wouldn't do it, much less without asking. You defend friends, not back stab them. 

When and how did you discover Second Life? – 2006. Old boyfriend who fell for my best sl friend. GO FIGURE! 

Did you know about virtual worlds before or was this your first experience with them? – I didn't. I used to roleplay in boards, but it was fun to change over to SL where it was more interactive. 

Has Second Life met your expectations? – I didn't have any, so I suppose it has?

If you could teleport back to the first ten minutes of your avatar’s slife, what would you tell yourself? – DO NOT PUT YOUR CREDIT CARD IN, YOU CRAZY COLLEGE STUDENT YOU. 

How long did it take you to master avatar flying and driving vehicles inworld? – I got flying down fast. I used to only get around flying. Drivng.. idk.. it took a while since I didn't do it when I first got into sl, when I was given a vehicle, I already knew how to move around sl. 

Do you have a mystery alt? – I wish I did! But no. I'm too open, and the few times I've tried it, I say it's me. 

Is your SL avatar a reflection of you, or someone you wished you could be? – Fully me, the emotions are real, the behavior is me, it's all of me. I guess that's why I fall so hard with my friends, and get hurt so easily . 

Is there an individual you met in SL that inspired you in your RL? How? So many! I just can't think of any off the top of my head, but many. 

Do you feel it is easier to create stronger bonds/relationships with people you meet inworld as opposed to the real world? – It's about the same I suppose. 

Did you ever imagine or believe people could fall in love with someone they never met before Second Life? – I didn't, but I have. 

How has your perspective of dating changed (or not) since you started playing second life? –Nope. 

How has your perspective of employment changed (or not) since you started playing second life? – Yes, I never thought I'd have to work out of sl, and actually make enough to do alright in my real life and pay for my medical needs. It's awesome. 

Name three things in both your lives that overlap each other significantly. – work, feelings, growth. 

If you could live your life more immersively in a virtual world, would you? (Kind of like the Matrix) – Oh gosh no. 

How do you think behavior changes for people if they’re inworld vs in real world? Why do you think that is? – People are rude online because they don't have to deal with the consequences of their actions. Much harder to be rude when you can see the effect it has on someone. 

How has second life consumerism changed your perception of spending habits, the value of money, the need to be “bleeding edge” with fashion?– I'm a shopaholic and do terrible with money. Then, now and always. But it did give me a fashion sense. 

Do you think virtual worlds like SL drive and redefine human interaction or do they narrow and limit it? – I think they broaden it and help people with fears like me, though sometimes that's a double edged sword. 

If technology progressed tomorrow to allow you to send emotions to people the way you’d send text or voice messages, would it enrich your SL experience or infringe on it? – It would be awesome. Maybe less people would be rude, and people would start behaving like humans online. 

Name three skills you attribute to having learned or honed in second lifealone. – 3d creation, photoshop, and fashion sense. 

If your grand kids googled your Second Life Avatar’s name, would they be intrigued, disgusted, proud or something else? – I hope they would be proud of the things that I've managed to accomplish despite my handicaps.

Winter Winds

It's been so long since I've posted, and I don't mean for that to happen, just kinda does. As you guys know, I have like a crapton of health issues, so it's hard for me to balance designing, blogging, and my own health at times, but! Allons-y! I feel like there's way too much to recap, and lots of inventory to go through! How in the heck did I get over 80k items while I was gone!? Busy designers be busy. That, and I don't even want to try to do a search for "poly" in that mess. Nope.

So first off, the fabulous Aime bunny lady from Mish Mish made a gorgeous jewelry box for this round of Collab, and it actually has songs and it spins and everything, and at the other side it has this cute little ring, I'm just.. so in love it's not even funny. Then you have the fab Andel Rhiadra from A.D.D Andel that made these gorgeous winter candles, and since I didn't post in December, I felt like I could bring them in and tie the whole winter theme together, along with the shrubble.. well, not shrubble, but I shall call it my shrubble and it shall be mine forever because.. the first thing that I knew from Mish Mish was the shrubble, and now they have a snow version of it that you can sit on (big) and the small one, for travel size, and bed time, of course.

One of the best things about being a designer, I have to say, is that you can make the things that you want. Like.. No secret that I'm a huge Doctor Who fan, so for a VIP gift for Wimey, I made the bracelet. "Neither Cruel, nor Cowardly. Never give up, never give in". I have got to say that was one of the best Doctor Who quotes ever. So, I put it in a bracelet, silver, for free, just 100L to join the VIP group for future discount, news, and what not. Ison now has mesh eyes, available in Fameshed, and I'm totally in love. And let's not forget the new hair by the fabulous, unique Bubbles Clawtooth from Clawtooth, which will be in the mainstore soon, and was in the last round of Collabor88.

And We'll Never Be Royals

So I loooooove this song, Royals, like.. the more I listen to it, the more listen to it, the more I obsess with it, and throughout my hospital stay, that's literally all I could play in my phone. I think I made my husband sick. Soz. Not soz, really. 

Anyways, I went to Collab, and that's all I could think when I saw the amazing stuff that the designers did this round. Can we please talk about the lightbulbs that Tegan Serin did from floorplan? I'm dying a little, and you can change them to any metal you want. Bronze, gold, silver, platinum, and charcoal. The textures are lovely, whenyou turn them on they don't look like a hot glow mess, and they're just fabulous. Then you have Trompe, and I adore these chairs, and the chandelier.. urgh. It's so classy, but not royal, it's just my style. The cat though, that's Sway's release for FLF, so.. make sure to grab it today while you can, so adorable, and unique, it's a cute must have piece. The rug is from Lark, and well, the scene just needed a cute rug to pull the look together, I think. 

For clothing, I did all from Collab, the shoes are fri.day, and they're adorable, point heels, and with a cute little emblem on the side, can't really see it, but it's adorable, and works with Slink feet. The skirt is from Tres Blah, it has a minor problem with the rigging though, so when you sit, the studs, and the skirt sometimes go different ways, I noticed, it's a little on the annoying side, but for standing, it's the most adorable skirt ever. And the top is also from Tres Blah, and it's just soooo cute, I can't live without it. The necklace is new from Yummy, and seriously, they never cease to amaze me, it's so elegantly understated that it's just hte perfect piece to pull off the theme. New hair by Bubbles Clawtooth too. I adoooore Clawtooth hair, possibly because I'm a little obsessed with Bubbles and how fabulous he is, but.. also because the textures are always more.. I don't even know how to call it, it's got more of the indie vibe that I love in my styles, and for some reason I'm digging weird colors lately, so I stuck with the Princess Bubblegum color, but.. yeah, I adore this hair style!

You Might Say I'm a Dreamer...

Arcade time is once again upon us, you know, that one time a year that everyone on the grid pretty much craps their pants, and empties out their bank account because you just have to have that one rare that the machine won't give you. I mean.. this sounds pretty much about right, right? I know it's almost the case for me. I mean, my name is Sash Arabello, and I'm an arcade gatcha addict. Welp!

This round marks the one year anniversary of the Arcade, and everything is just so amazing, and awesome! I'm extremely excited to see Lark in the round up, Sienia is so talented, she truly deserves to be in there! And then you have the cuteness my MishMish, like.. I know I already blogged it, but it's so cute I don't even care. And what about that rare by Alouette? and let's not even talk about the mess that was TeeFy. I think I sold my soul to that machine. Oh dear.. another day and another blog post? I might just be on a role. Or maybe it's just the fact that Arcade is almost here, and I always get uber excited when Arcade is upon us! I have just a couple more to show you guys cus.. I'm lucky enough to have a couple review packs out before the actual event is out... and well.. you're just going to die. Natalee Oodles, my uber talented awesome friend made more charm bracelets, and a charm necklace. BUT! Get this.. it's actually VILLAINS related! I mean.. forget the good guys, I like the villains. And.. I honestly genuinely believe that Natalee does love me now. I mean... Maleficent... HORNS. ON A HEADBAND. This was just made for me! This one is one of the rare prices, and it might just be one of my of my favorite releases for the Arcade, just because.. in my pretty little mind, it was made just for me. Natalee, you disagree, I'll kill you :). 

Not only do we have the awsome charms and headband by Noodles, but Olive has made a nice line of briefcases, and they also have them in backpack mode. One of my favorites, other than the Hogwarts colors, ofc, it's the one with the Mickey ears and the color pattern.. and the pretty bow on top all Minnie mouse like.. Rose.. this was just freaking brilliant, I loved it. So.. today.. I wanted to put it all together to make a very awkward look, cus.. I'm just a teenage dirtbag baby <3. Now.. let's just glare at the calendar until it's the first, sounds like a plan? I THINK SO.

My Favorite Places

So just like every Monday.. Berry posted her challenge up, and today it's about your favorite places. And I sat for a while. I mean.. my list is pretty boring. I either shop, or stay in a platform forever. So.. I doubted pictures of a white box would have been very interesting, besides, it's not neat AT ALL, so.. that was out of the question. But.. then I thought.. when I'm not working, I actually do stuff... other than shopping.. I roleplay! And I mean, right now there's very few places that I enjoy, all with the drama and lame people, just.. no.. You know? Like.. not even going to be going into it because I don't like to be negative, but.. whatever. There's one place in the grid however, that always has me going back to it, and that's Mischief Managed. I've talked about it a lot of times, but.. it's picturesque, and it has awesome RP stuff going on, so.. of course I would love it. Further more, there's also a new sim around the grid for Game of Thrones RP that an old friend of mine that I met in Mischief Managed brought me too, and I've been having a lot of fun there too! So.. I guess my two favorite places in the grind are.. Mischief Managed, and Crownlands! 

I also wanted to take a couple moments right now to speak about a couple new releases. One.. Umm.. Can we please talk about the new uniforms that Damien Fate released for his Fateplay line? It has kid mesh sizes. You know.. they fit child av's, without toddleedoo, and not only that.. they're actually well made, and mesh. I think the whole Hogwarts community in SL wept in joy when this was released. 

Now.. shifting. ARCADE! Arcade is upon us, and I've been lucky enough to get a couple previews, and some more that i'll share in a blog post later this week. But.. well, if you're like me, you're awaiting for the Arcade to open up while jumping up and down your chair. No, really, is okay, this release is sooo exciting. For once.. the cute adorable chipmunks of MishMish.. I mean.. words can't even describe how adorable they are! And then you have the release of Lark. Lark is new this round in the Arcade, and I couldn't be happier to see them in this line up! Like.. It's uber exciting because Sienia is an amazing talented designer that works extremely hard and her creativity is just.. extraordinary. I think the release she made for the Arcade just shows us a glimpse of not only her talent, but that amazing creativity that she possesses that sets her apart from every designer out there. Her books and bookcase are really cleverly done, and the texturing is some of the best that I've seen in the gird in those books, and I'm not even exaggerating. I love these. So.. make sure to keep an out for her, and visit her store for other amazing stuff! Meanwhile, sit with me and glare at your pc, until it's time for you to get into the Arcade!

Two major events are going on right now. Flux, and Fameshed, and though there were a lot of things that didn't fit my style in Flux.. I have to admit, Lark did totally amazing with this floating Tiki. It comes with all the poses in in (Including the one I used in the picture) and, you don't have to accept an attachment, go into your inventory, wear it, and then remember to take it off.. no.. the sit just asks you if it's okay to attach the item to you! I thought that was a pretty cool feature, but I'm a dork, so.. sue me. So.. yeah, I had to use my pool just for this item, because.. amazing, and the lights also come on their own if you just want the flamigo lights, so.. pretty cool stuff! The pool is old, well.. relatively speaking, it's been collecting dust in my Narnia for about a month or two, so I thought it was time to finally show it off. And then the yard flamingo was.. totally worth it, amazing add for your garden if you want some giggles. 

Then we have Fameshed. Now, it's not a secret that I totally love Fameshed, and Trompe's release ofr it was amazing to go with this pool set. Classy, sophisticated, and colorful, fits great indoors for a more relaxed feel at home, but.. personally, I like it outside with all my cool awesome stuff because.. well.. it fits. Don't forget to visit these two events going on NOW to get some of these goodies, along with a lot of other goodies.

On Melancholy Hill

Up in melancholy hill, there's a plastic tree. Okay, you're not here to see my awesome lyric typing singing skill while I sing. But.. there was a challenge somewhere out there, I think, or maybe someone was planning to make a challenge where you were inspired by song lyrics for your post. I was! I did it! I absolutely love the Gorillaz, and this song is sooo cute and so me, So.. yeah, there you go, challenge accepted, even if it wasn't a challenge, and done! Bam. 

So.. today there's two newness on the release of new stuff. One.. Essences released their new line, Whisper. I love it. For a moment I thought that the skin was too pink, and I didn't care for it, but.. now I just absolutely love it. Look at the nose! And the eyes, and just.. so adorable, I absolutely love it. amazing job. Now, I am going to be completely honest, one of the things about Essences is that I don't like a lot of her tones, but I absolutely love the light rose, and the sunkissed. My two favorite ones, I find that she sometimes gets too close to a hue, like.. either too red, or too green, but the execution of the skin, the detale of it, and just the softness of it, I completely love. And the eyebrows. They grow on you. So.. I am wearing the sunkissed version of it, and I'm trying to change things up, still trying to figure out the new look with this skin because.. I absolutely love it. 

Lark also has a new upcoming release. This cute little bathing suit that is just.. completely adorable. The red polka dot made me think Minnie Mouse, and if you don't know by now that I'm a huge fan of three things, Doctor Who, Disney, and Harry Potter.. well.. you need to go back and do some reading! I couldn't help but to put on my Mouse ears, and go around in this cute little piece. My favorite part of this swimsuit has got to be the back. One piece on the front, two piece in the back, and I had to show that off. So.. yeah, there's your Sunday newness for today! I hope you all enjoy!

Disneybounding: Princess Aurora!

Growing up, Sleeping Beauty has always been one of my favorite movies. Though.. I'll be honest, it wasn't for Aurora, it was the pink and blue fairy, AND Maleficent. I know it sounds weird, but I've always been captivated by Maleficent's character. Younger, I was afraid of her. Like.. that scene with Aurora following the green wisp of light along the corridor.. the music, all of it, it was just.. so eerie. I used to cry in that scene every time. Literally, just.. petrified of it. But then I started to grow up, and I started admiring the work that Disney did on her, the fact that Maleficent was just.. evil. Pure evil. I mean.. you go to Disney, when you watch the Fantasmic! show in Disneyworld... they use her almost as the queen of evil.. darker and more sinister than the Evil Queen herself. Which.. let's face it, she wasn't that evil, she was just vain to the point of insanity really. But Maleficent.. just.. everything about her screamed evil. I loved it. And now with the new movie coming out.. like.. I really hope they don't ruin that. I love her as she is. 

Anyways, the challenge is Aurora. And I wanted to do the mix up of the two fairies. You probably remember how they used to battle each other to turn the dress into pink or blue.. ending up in something like this: 

So.. I mused for days on how to do this, I wanted to do a dress, and then mix it like that in photoshop.. But.. that wasn't the challenge. So.. I figured it out. I had to include both colors in it! It wasn't a choice about pink or blue.. it was merging the two of them into one look. Anyways, I grabbed the top from one of the newer stores in grid, well, making a come back really - okkbye, which I absolutely love. I don't really like bright pink, so the fact that it was soft and sweet was perfect for me, added a headband from Lark, since I didn't have the right tiara for her, and just.. used the Snow white at hand to give it a little bit more of modern edge/attitude. And finished it off with the blue theme with jeans from Maitreya! The end result was a more modern and relaxed Aurora look that looks casual enough to pull off, and well.. still eludes to all the stuff from the movie, one of my favorite parts anyways. Enjoy!

Love Donna Flora

So, if you don't know who Donna Flora is.. you've practically been living under a rock. Okay, exaggerating, sorry! But.. Donna Flora is by far one of the biggest, and oldest names in jewelry. She got some devastating news as of recently, and Second Life has come together in order to help her out. She's battling cancer now, and we all wish her the best of luck in her battle. It's always really nice to see SL come together like this though, like.. instead of all the hate, and the annoying battles that happen in SL, it's really nice to see people come together and try to help each other out. To me, that's what SL and the experience of it all is about. Not trying to bring other people down, but trying to help each other up. Not tearing down, but building. There's been a lot more tearing down lately than usual, I mean, I've even felt it, so.. nice change! I guess. But.. I decided to compile a cute look with a couple of items for the Love Donna Flora event. 

Also, the Seraphim social is up and running, and one of my favorite items in this necklace from Lark. I just love it, and the symbolism of it. So.. let me tell you a little bit about it. The Seraphim Social is an event that it's all about reading a book, and then designers make an item based on the book. It's actually a pretty cool concept that Lashae has created, and I loved it, had to get on board any way that I could. Now if only I could stop playing SL long enough to actually read.. it would be better, right!? But this month, for the opening month, the book chosen was The Host. And even though I'm not a HUGE fan of Stphanie Meyer, well.. I have to admit.. the movie wasn't half bad. Wasn't Twilight, but then again, I might not have hated Twilight half as much without freaking Stewart kid.. at any rate, I think I might actually pick up this read! This necklace represents the two souls inside of the body, and like.. any ways, it's really cool, and I love it, and I'm a sucker for things with a lot of meaning behind it, so.. yeah, love, and worth a pick up! Somewhere Only We Know

Okay! So... I'm really excited, recently a lot of things have been happening to the blog. Way more hits, and I've got two major stores that took me in as a blogger now, and I couldn't be more thrilled! Essences, and Trompe Loeil. These are two of my all time favorite stores, so it's a pretty huge big deal for me, and an honor, and I've actually gotten to talk to both Inka and Cory, and they're both so sweet! I love that, like when you meet a designer, and they're actually.. not cocky and all weird, but down to earth and really fun to talk to. So.. yeah, tears have been shed a little, specially when I got my invite for Covert Affairs, and.. Umm... big stuff! I never in a million years thought that blogging would be such a big part of my sl life and my life, but it turns out that my passion for pictures, trying to network and get out of my shell, and trying to grow as a person has worked, and I am ever so thrilled. I mean, I've changed a lot from the time I started blogging. It's pretty funny, this person, his name is James, James and I were close friends way back in the day when I started blogging. Then drama, and angry blow ups, but when we started talking again, like.. literally yesterday over one of my you tried stars, I just.. let everything go, I mean, I have changed, why can't others? So even when the cautionary tales came, I was like.. woah, chill, 1. I'm not marrying the dude, 2. what's wrong with giving someone a chance? You can't ever change if no one gives you a chance or just craps all over your parade! So.. I did it. And so far, you know what? I'm glad, I am laughing, I'm having fun, and there's no drama. Okay, yeah, with all the cautionary tales and crap I'm cautious, but I'm enthusiastic, because.. I'd rather have a friend, than an awkward enemy. So that's why I decided to do Berry's challenge on him, and then doing a couple others, maybe, we'll see! I for sure want to introduce you all to Clio Clary, who's like.. my best friend ever in SL. So yes! Here we go guys!

After that, I joined up with the gaming community of second life which engaged in various activities - but consisting mostly of just shooting things. That got boring after a while though, and I made my final stop right in the popular roleplay community known as the Crack Den

I started out immature: rude, a huge troll, and so many other names I could use to explain my former self. Thanks to my experience here,:I've finally learned how to move past that and act proper in social situations. That is more than likely the biggest of lessons I got while in SL!

James Weaver (legion.afterthought): That's hard to say since all my friends I had way back are still in SL to this day..except one person, now that I think about it! When I was part of that gaming/shooting community mentioned above, there was one group I remained consistently dedicated to until it's fall when their leader was falsely banned from SL entirely. He was by fat the best leader I've ever come across in SL. Creative, intelligent, and when the other leaders insisted on involving politics and drama into their groups, LEO Damone (the aforementioned leader) didn't give in and allowed for the group to maintain a cool atmosphere. If you take a look at my profile, you will see a group named Valkyrie Veterans - that's the group I made in nemoriam of the group that was led by LEO
