So I know a lot of people are getting a little event-ed out, meaning there are so many events in SL that it's almost like it's pointless to go to the main store, just because designers get into so many events that they forget to do releases for their store. I feel you, I feel like that a lot of the times, however, I do still love a good event because it lets me see the creativity of designers, along with discovering new places and stores that other wise I probably wouldn't have known about. So, that brings me to this new event named Seasons Story. It's amazing cute, and I just adore it, it's got a lot of the bigger Japanese/Asian brands, but still has some main stream stores like Floor Plan and Wasabi Pills in it! I just love everything about this, the set up, the idea, the items, the quality, and the feel to this event, so... well done, it's a home run in my opinion.
I decided to do two different looks just because there's so much I want to show you guys, and I wanted to start today, I originally wanted to do more looks for this post, but I'm going to have to divide it, too many amazing things to go through. I have to say that also the pose makers did a fabulous job this event, it gave me so much inspiration for pictures, so.. to everyone in this event, thank you, you've given me so much to work with that I'm actually overwhelmed by inspiration! It's the start of a new week, and it took me a while to get another blog post rolling out, but this weekend was the week of hell! Mainly been in bed all of the weekend, and right now.. honestly? I can't wait to get back in it! Treatment takes a huge tole on me, and well, I'm just glad that blogging is my only job, else I'd be kinda messed up! But.. One thing I love about Mondays is the fact that it's Meme Mondays! I loooove Berry's memes, most of the times it's a good way for our readers to get to know more about us, and it's also a good way to get to know ourselves just a little bit. Or sometimes just make fools of ourselves. Others like the movie poster challenge, have fun! This week is all about inventory. Welp. I hate inventory. That Narnia of doom that feels like it's going to explode. Granted, I've done an okay job at keeping things boxed.. just.. no. Bad Narnia. Bad! So.. I'm going to start with today's meme.. and scare a couple of people that, perhaps.
What is your current inventory number? – 55,885. I do a lot of boxing, luckily, so it's managed to knock a good couple thousand out (pro tip I learned in plurk, sizes you don't use, like the L's and stuff, box them! That way they don't bulk you up.
If you had to delete your whole inventory and could only keep one thing, what would it be? – Totally going to copy Berry here, and say my hair folder. I'd die if it went missing, like.. so much work, so much love, so many linden.
What is the last thing you purchased? – I actually don't remember, it's been about two weeks since I've gone shopping, I've been absolutely broke RL, so.. yeah, no shopping until check clears. I'm looking at you Compass Bank.

Some of my favorite shoes are these Gos shoes. I love the fact that they're black. Frilly, and they have a skin match system with a mesh foot to perfectly match my amazing skin. So by far.. I have to say that these Gos shoes are just.. amazing. And the platform.. I mean.. I can go around normal sl, and be okay sized with all the giant SL people.. and all without messign with my shape! I completely just adore these shoes. R3volt also has a new release.. these panties just.. they're way too adorable, I love the frills, I love the teal polkadots of it, and the little bows around them... my favorite short shorts now. I kept it very simple with the styling. Used one of the cuffs from Noodles, and the bag, which i love, from Adore&Abhor because.. I mean.. giant fortune cookie.. why wouldn't I love these amazing little bag? If your'e more into the eccentric, cute things in the grid, this is by far a must! And I finished it off with hair from Lelutka, and my Sash skin from Essences, new from Collabor88! So I've always loved Disneybound, but with everything going on, I've kind of put it in the back burner, I hate to say it, but.. no more! I did a disneybound you guys! I decided to do Dumbo this week, because.. he's so adorable, and who doesn't love a flying elephant, like.. it's the most adorable thing ever! It was kind of easy, to be honest, I mean, color scheme is gray, red and yellow, mostly gray. Maybe I took it too literal, but.. oh well, I still love the outfit, thought it was something maybe different from teh direction that a lot of people went. I did use the elephant necklace though to just tie the whole theme of Dumbo into it, and I used Kuzco's bow, from Noodle's last arcade round, to finish off the scheme. It's a cheat, I know, but it worked really well, even if it was meant for another character! Anyways, on to the credits! After not sleeping for two days, it feels a little odd to like.. finally write or something, I still need coffee!
Okay, so today.. There's no rambling. I think. I don't know. When I blog I just type whatever comes to my mind and hope people can make sense of it. I don't literally have a plan, I don't know, I guess I want you guys to know me for whom I am, not because I'm trying to just say "LOOK! PRETTY STUFF TO GO BROKE ON!" Which.. I mean.. come on.. the hair and the outfit.. totally deserves to be bought, but.. still, I guess to me blogging is more than that, I try to bring a bit of myself into every post and hope that you guys enjoy the quirky mess that is me. Well, sometimes is emo, but whatever. I'm over the emo, time for fuuuuun! So.. I went today to Fameshed, because.. I was a bad blogger and hadn't gone. And I drooled over the new hair. I was sad truth hasn't put their stuff out, or Lame Furniture, since I'm a huge fan of theirs, but.. whatevers. Replaced by Wasabi pills. I'm lately all about the poof like that, with the headband holding it back. maybe because I'm a dork and I love all things headbands *HINT HINT TO ANY DESIGNER OUT THERE! MORE PLS! TY!* So.. yeah.. Of course I grabbed the pack in a heart beat. Then I walked around.. and fell in love with Cracked Mirrors release, and I had to buy it as well. I mean.. it's sooo cute D: I also had to blog it because I feel like.. I don't know, this represents my style really well, very comfortable and casual, but pretty, and I wish more designers would do things like this, because.. well, I do bring a huge part of myself and personality into SL, so to me it's important to look a bit like myself, or keep an essences of myself in my avatar. So props to Cracked Mirror for this, honestly, very well done, my only complain is that the pink is a little dark, and I wish there were more combinations of the colors. LIKE TEAL. But then again, like.. I'm obsessed with that color. TEAL AND BLACK! Honestly, I'd just throw linden for that, a teal over the top tank, layered over a black one. So happy. And then one with a white one on the bottom. Can this be done? Please? Well, I rambled waaayyyy longer than I wanted to, so I'm just going to jump to credits. Enjoy guys! Guyyyyyyyyssss! Hair fair is once again upon us! I'm so uber excited about it too! I'm not entering for the contest, but.. I decided to talk to you guys about it because it's a huuuuuuuuge cause that's so dear to my heart. So.. if you don't know, Hair Fair is a yearly event to raise money for Wigs for Kids. Now.. what is Wigs for Kids? Organization that donates wigs.. for kids with cancer. Now, this really means a lot to me because not only do I have cancer, but I have family that's had it, and suffered from it, and passed.. and if you can just put a small smile on their faces, well, that's what matters. Not only that, with my daughter passing after she was born, I have a huge soft spot for children in need, and being able to see a kid with cancer smile, and have hair.. well, how beautiful is that? I actually am tearing up just writing this. But it is because of this that year after year, many designers flock to these four sims, and donate some of their makings to this wonderful cause. I applaud the organizers for this, because it is truly something beautiful that they're doing.
Now.. one thing about hair fair? It's laggy as hell, you have to fight like hell to get in, and you crash a million and one times while you're there. Truth. But it is sooooo worth it, a lot of designers will have exclusives, and even gifts to help promote their brand. So.. being granted early access alone is a huge thing! Make sure to try and get in, I mean.. what's the worst that could happen?! You get a no? It's still a fun theme to play around, inspiration by movies? Heck yes! I've always wanted to do a Breakfast at Tiffany's poster, and now I have for something that truly inspires me. I'm copying the rules from the website, make sure to read them carefully.
1. This years theme is “Movies Inspire Me” be as creative as you like, feel free to include other people in your shots.

Seven runners up will also be given early access to Hair Fair 2013, as well as having their photos on display at the event.

I feel like such a slacker, I haven't done this in forever it feels like.. two weeks, I might go back and redo them some time when I have time and I'm not feeling well, like I'll more than likely rework this picture because I'm not fully happy with it, but I'm sooooo dead right now all I want to do is lay down in my bed and pass out. However.. MUST WORK! I mean.. Smee, he's one of my favorite characters in Disney, basically because he's cute, and chubby, and a funny villain. He, in my opinion, is the reason why Peter Pan is so great! Him and the freaking crocodile, I loved Hook's reactions to hearing him. His style is very easy to translate into a wardrobe, luckily, all you need is blue stripes, comfortable shoes, and a red beanie! So I decided for this amazing dress from NYU, it has to be my favorite piece of this store by far, and it's saying a lot because they have so many great things. I also got the dorkiest glasses I could find because they're so adorable, and as far as the hair goes.. I know it's old and sculpted, but.. it has my RL and SL name on it, so I've never been able to rid it, and I'm so glad I didn't! Look at how amazing it is, and completes the outfit quite lovely. So.. on to the credits before I die!
Sometimes all we want to do is have fun, and it reflects in SL. Like.. I have a huge thing for cute things that are just.. random and whimsical, and cute, and maybe a bit on the childish side. Sometimes even extremely eclectic. I don't know why, but things like that always draw me in. That's why when I got the sneak peek at MishMish's items for the Arcade, I squealed like a little girl.. water fights? Cute fishy water guns? Ums.... YES PLEASE! If I didn't get them.. I would have gone broke trying to get them all. I mean.. MishMish is known by now for their adorable and cute designs, and whimsical toys, The monkeys.. the shrubbie.. how freaking adorable! And now this collection is going to be a must for all of us that are still a huge kid at heart.
Oh, yeah.. and it's about to become very serious when you start shooting the water! It comes with a pose included in it, and it's very serious! Now.. I had to keep the carefree with this cute little hoodie by R3volt. Nyan Cat? Um... again.. YES PLEASE! This is a new release, and their attention to detail is what really got me on this guys.. it's got detail even on the inside of the hoodie, instead of just leaving it blank like many others do, so bravo for this guys! Blueberry also has a new release, and I'm huge picky about mesh jeans, and these.. absolutely amazing, i don't look like I have bow leggedness. I love them, and they come in leather front version, and bleached like the ones I have now.. sometimes the texture, in some colors, can look a bit on the odd side, but I really liked this color, I also think that they might look a lot better with some boots on! But.. I needled flip flops for this water fight at the beach! THISWASSRSBIZNISS.

I wanted to do a very quick blog post because I'm not feeling well, and quite honestly, the editing of the photo took way longer than I expected, and into my writing time, but.. whatever. Today I went to Hogwarts. Why? Well, I got this awesome print shirt/robes. For 50L. Hoora! It's sad that Pink Outfitters is having a retirement sale, I love them D: But.. 50L for a Slytherin shirt? Freck yeah! So I'm rocking it today! New skin for the Zodiac, and I'm loving Essences skins again, totally 100% in love with them, and the make up is so sexy on this one. Rawr, and for people that don't like huge eyebrows, this is perfect for you, the skin has more of a soft feel to it than anything, and now they have appliers, the skin is only 175L, so go grab it while you can! Finally, cute little skirt by Cute Poison for the 100 block. It's cute.. I mean, I kind of wish it was mapped out with more detail, but I love the fit. On to the styling credits!

Lately I've been obsessed with this song. Don't hate, I get my fevers, and being around one of my best friends, well, I can't help but sing Disney all the time. She inspires me. So, today, I finally bought two things I really wanted. The Zaara dress, and the Slink eyelids. I know.. I know.. I'm slow, but damnit! Girls have budgets! And forgetful minds when shiny lindens come her way! But still, I put a cute little look together, and blogged it, I wanted it to be more like being in the wind, and relaxed.. serene, I have to admit, the lids and the dress really inspired me. So.. I sat in the park in our sim that the lovely Natalee Oodles made, and I took this wonderful shot, and worked on it really fast to get this out, because I'm sick, and if I have to go to the doctors and stay there forever, damn it! I'm going to give you one last quick wonderful post with this gorgeous dress that you should buy. Now. Go.
Fameshed is one year old guys! Doesn't that make you feel old? I know it does for me... Oh, well! Cute stuff be around every corner, and I'll be blogging more about it as time goes by, I'm sure, but I wanted to start with this little dress from Lenox. It feels like it has been forever since they came up with something! The 1991 Dress for Fameshed is completely adorable, and it comes in red, pink, blue, purple and cream. I feel like I don't wear enough red in my life, and I do love me some red.. so, I put it on, pumped it up with some pumps.. and.. omg.. look at the draping of the skirt part, I'm so swoon with this dress, complete love! Makes me feel like a little queen, or.. like the song says.. I'm the ****** king of the world!

So.. I totally love the Doctor, and I've always wanted to do some sort of shot with something Doctor related. I could have done the tardis.. but.. a Dalek army was so much better. EXTERMINATE!
So, anyways, more new stuff from R3VOLT. This cute jacket comes in three versions, and it even has a belt on it I didn't care much for the belt, personally, but I totally loved the jacket in black with the white straps. I paired it off with just a simple look, shorts, heels, and kept it classy and sexy, and with a sort of military flair to it.
Still melancholic. Deal with it. At least I'm giving awesome posts still, right?! So... newness! I am so picky about jeans in second life, specially mesh ones. Some make your legs look like twigs, others are bow legged, and it makes me so angry I normally just wear clothes layer jeans, but.. facella has new mesh jeans that are perfect! Totally love them. And if you haven't gotten this sweater by Tee*fy in collabor88, you need to get it before it goes out! The jewelry, you have until the 3rd to get it guys! the necklace is from Noodles' Bees through the season, and it comes with a matching Crown and matching earrings. The bow is just too cute, also from noodles. And the bracelet... I always did say I loved that bracelet. And of course I'm still wearing my flip flops, I don't think I'll ever be taking them off. Lately I've been feeling melancholic guys, partially might be because of the date and how close it is to my daughter's birthday, or it could be a mix of that and what's going on currently in my life. But right now.. I don't feel like I'm no longer the person I wanna be. I've got a picture of the girl I wanna be, dancing around in my head. Sad song, lovely, and really sums up how I feel right now.
Anywho, I'm still head over heels with this cuff from epoque. I don't know, I don't think I've actually taken it off since I bought it, oh well. I'll wash it. The Gos flip flops are seriously a must guys, I wear flip flops in RL all the time, so for me this is just.. amazeballs. There's a new release from R3VOLT again, they've got releases like.. more than one a day, crazy! But I love this strappy top, and it's fully costumizeable, the traps, the rings, all that changes is the black bands, totally love. The hair is ploom, and only 95L at The Deck this round, make sure to get it while you can!
So, SL Bounding continues, this week's challenge - Kuzco. Boom, baby! Boo-yeah! I so freaking love this movie! So.. I started to struggle with this one some.. how can you make it hot, fun, and free spirited? Difficult challenge indeed. I started with the color palette, the turquoise, gold, and red, and black. Started with the hair because.. it's the easiest thing in there. So this is Exile, love them. Then I decided.. try every dress! The one that had the flair that I was going for is by milk motion, past Dressing Room Fusion item, in red, of course! It just had the long feel to it, the emperor commanding style.. settled for sandals.. well.. somewhat.. by Gos, and the jewelry is a mix of Zaara and Epoque, coordinated in Kuzco's color theme. I can't wait for next week's challenge !So psyched!
I love the Little Mermaid, I remember sitting down as a little girl and crying along to it, even at the happy ending. But then again, I'm a dork. So, Kiss the Girl.. iconic scene from Disney, and how to transverse this into daily wear? I mainly focus on the main important aspects, the bow, and the blue, and the corset. The corset in the movie is actually a dark blue, but, I went for black, and I also found the amazing freebie necklace that fits the bill just so perfectly from Erare, which is a mermaid shop at the Mayfair sim by Thora Charron. Added the dress from vive9, and a corset, which is really my favorite corset ever, by Auxiliary, and made a very Ariel reminiscent look out of it.
Collabor88 has arrived, and I couldn't be more excited about some of the items that are up for grab. Can I start with this little dress by Ison? I normally don't buy fat packs.. and I rarely wear red, but.. I love the dress, and the fly away theme, and the fact that you can change it completely by changing the top layer. And the glasses by Boom? New set of jewelry from Maxi Gossamer? Yes, please! If you haven't yet gone.. GO! What are you waiting for? I am completely insane about the new round of collabor88. So, back from the dead yet again, and quite possibly mean it. I had to have an emergency surgery, and it's literally kicked my ass. Seriously.. rl.. you can stop now! But anyways, I'm posting today about this cute little adorable top from a newer store called R3volt. Their style is a bit more punk and out there, but for us fashionistas there's still good finds at affordable prices.
Well I don't know where I'll go now, and I don't really care who follows me here. But I'll burn every bridge that I cross, and find some beautiful place to get lost. Sometimes, really, is funny how music speaks to you. Or your character, for that fact. Hard to explain, but I guess that's the mood of the day, and it's passing over to my blog. Oh noes! At any rate, it kind of fits the picture.. crossing and burning bridges, to get to a beautiful place.
But.. if you are going to cross a bridge, you have to do it in style. Yes! Normally, I'm not one for pastels, I find they wash out the skin, and make you look too.. kiddish, however, it's Easter time, or close to it, so.. in the spirit of Easter, on to show off some pastels, and this little number by limited bazaar is perfect! They have one in blue, and another in purple, I decided to go pinkish because.. I rarely do, I love the small embroidered detail on it.. or structural detail I guess you could call it. I only wish it was slightly mapped out on the actual dress, instead of just drawn, so you could have a lot more dimension on the dress, as of right now.. unless you cam very very close.. it kind of gets lost in the dress. However, still adorable. In more Limited Bazaar news, this cute little jewelry set is actually Alice in Wonderland themed. And.. well, i'm going to admit. I'm a sucker for anything Disney.. so.. of course I had to rush and get it! I loved the aged feel to it, very vintage style, and the cute little picture on the watch. Totally had to have it, and it's limited, so rush and get it guys! I paired it off with a cardigan from TokiD, because.. well, layering.. always helps create the outfit, and give it a you flair, and some Gos boutique shoes.. because.. I'm totally in love with TokiD. The hair is from Exile, and found it really gave a feel of innocence and effortless to the outfit.
It's been a while. I know. Real life and Second Life both have been kicking my ass. Inspiration was gone, and I struggled a bit to find my ground again, but.. fear not! I'm back, and bringing in the fashion and awesomeness all over again. Once in fashion, and soon to be seen.
So, enough with the crap, let's get right into it, because.. I think I might have lost my voice again. But.. my fashion tastes is still full gear, and full out. Have you guys checked out Maitreya as of recently? Dear God, I'm totally in love with this dress. So simple, so sexy, and so much statement in one piece, I'm completely head over heels with it. Also, new, is this skin by Maitreya, for the skin fair. I'm loving it. I'm a huuuge fan of Maitreya, and after feeling like someone looked like a clone of me, I had to do something drastic. After buying.. I believe.. 20 skins? I finally found one that totally fits me, and rocks! And finally, in newness news, these shoes by Gos Boutique. I'm a huge fan of Gos boutique. I do love prim feet, really, but one of my pet peeves was always trying to match it to the skin. It's amazing that someone finally heard us out, and created an easy system that has the major skins in sl one clique away, just.. log to your site, pick the skin, and voila, it's all matched for you. No pain, no headaches. No raging. And these shoes.. seriously.. so sexy.
So, I wanted to create a very effortless rock chick look. Classy, sexy, and still looks like you can rock it. I loved the Ariel hairstyle from Lelutka, because.. even though it's from their fairy tale collection, it still looks like you're about to rock some socks off. The bracelet is by Noodles, and I'm sorry, I'm never taking it off. I love it, and it took forever to complete it, and it's by far my favorite piece of jewelry ever. Because I'm a dork. You can try your lock at the Arcade to get all the charms for this amazing little piece! Leggings are the half legging, half leather leggings from Milk motion. I always wanted to have a good outfit to rock them out with, since they're so edgy, and in this outfit, it fits like a glove. Finally added the edgier piece of Maxi Gossamer collection in my inventory, and what you have is this. Badass, but classy. Totally love this.
