And We'll Never Be Royals

So I loooooove this song, Royals, like.. the more I listen to it, the more listen to it, the more I obsess with it, and throughout my hospital stay, that's literally all I could play in my phone. I think I made my husband sick. Soz. Not soz, really. 

Anyways, I went to Collab, and that's all I could think when I saw the amazing stuff that the designers did this round. Can we please talk about the lightbulbs that Tegan Serin did from floorplan? I'm dying a little, and you can change them to any metal you want. Bronze, gold, silver, platinum, and charcoal. The textures are lovely, whenyou turn them on they don't look like a hot glow mess, and they're just fabulous. Then you have Trompe, and I adore these chairs, and the chandelier.. urgh. It's so classy, but not royal, it's just my style. The cat though, that's Sway's release for FLF, so.. make sure to grab it today while you can, so adorable, and unique, it's a cute must have piece. The rug is from Lark, and well, the scene just needed a cute rug to pull the look together, I think. 

For clothing, I did all from Collab, the shoes are fri.day, and they're adorable, point heels, and with a cute little emblem on the side, can't really see it, but it's adorable, and works with Slink feet. The skirt is from Tres Blah, it has a minor problem with the rigging though, so when you sit, the studs, and the skirt sometimes go different ways, I noticed, it's a little on the annoying side, but for standing, it's the most adorable skirt ever. And the top is also from Tres Blah, and it's just soooo cute, I can't live without it. The necklace is new from Yummy, and seriously, they never cease to amaze me, it's so elegantly understated that it's just hte perfect piece to pull off the theme. New hair by Bubbles Clawtooth too. I adoooore Clawtooth hair, possibly because I'm a little obsessed with Bubbles and how fabulous he is, but.. also because the textures are always more.. I don't even know how to call it, it's got more of the indie vibe that I love in my styles, and for some reason I'm digging weird colors lately, so I stuck with the Princess Bubblegum color, but.. yeah, I adore this hair style!

Just for the record, Daisy has got to be one of my least favorite Disney characters. She's so.... urgh, I don't even know how to describe it but like.. she's so naggy,I really really hate her. But.. Nat made the challenge, and I answered, okay?! Can't hate on me for doing it, it was hard, but.. well, there it is, Daisy and crap. I really hard a hard time finding something to go over the dress that was purlple and i liked it. Probably because I hate the color purple too. God, poor Daisy, I'm just bashing on her, and I'm probably getting a lot of Daisy lovers hating me right now but.. you have to admit, she's a biotch! What was Walt thinking!?

Anyways, I dug in the depths of my inventory, and had a back in time experience. I had a good friend in SL that left, and I got sad face. She owned Fishy Strawberry, and.. I miss her. We used to have so much fun together! Our children! Think of the children! But anyways, I'm still very happy thinking that she has moved on to better things in life, but.. I still think abut her every now and then, and well, with that.. I had to use this coat, I paired it off with pink and white shoes from a past Collabor88 season,and the mon tissu white dress, and.. of course, pearls. The skin is still from the same whisper pack.. this time in Anime color! I actually like it, it is pale, but it has a pink subtle tone that I love. So.. that's about it, Disneybound as Daisy. :/

Disneybounding: Princess Aurora!

Growing up, Sleeping Beauty has always been one of my favorite movies. Though.. I'll be honest, it wasn't for Aurora, it was the pink and blue fairy, AND Maleficent. I know it sounds weird, but I've always been captivated by Maleficent's character. Younger, I was afraid of her. Like.. that scene with Aurora following the green wisp of light along the corridor.. the music, all of it, it was just.. so eerie. I used to cry in that scene every time. Literally, just.. petrified of it. But then I started to grow up, and I started admiring the work that Disney did on her, the fact that Maleficent was just.. evil. Pure evil. I mean.. you go to Disney, when you watch the Fantasmic! show in Disneyworld... they use her almost as the queen of evil.. darker and more sinister than the Evil Queen herself. Which.. let's face it, she wasn't that evil, she was just vain to the point of insanity really. But Maleficent.. just.. everything about her screamed evil. I loved it. And now with the new movie coming out.. like.. I really hope they don't ruin that. I love her as she is. 

Anyways, the challenge is Aurora. And I wanted to do the mix up of the two fairies. You probably remember how they used to battle each other to turn the dress into pink or blue.. ending up in something like this: 

So.. I mused for days on how to do this, I wanted to do a dress, and then mix it like that in photoshop.. But.. that wasn't the challenge. So.. I figured it out. I had to include both colors in it! It wasn't a choice about pink or blue.. it was merging the two of them into one look. Anyways, I grabbed the top from one of the newer stores in grid, well, making a come back really - okkbye, which I absolutely love. I don't really like bright pink, so the fact that it was soft and sweet was perfect for me, added a headband from Lark, since I didn't have the right tiara for her, and just.. used the Snow white at hand to give it a little bit more of modern edge/attitude. And finished it off with the blue theme with jeans from Maitreya! The end result was a more modern and relaxed Aurora look that looks casual enough to pull off, and well.. still eludes to all the stuff from the movie, one of my favorite parts anyways. Enjoy!

Rumor Has It

Rumor has it that FateWear is coming out with a new line. It's going to be called FatePlay. Really, I'm extremely excited over this. I love Damien's style, so when I heard that he would be coming out with something that girls could wear, and something that was really well made.. well... I fan girled a little. I know I shouldn't but.. yeah, I did. First of all, I love his stuff, second of all, one of the things I hate about rp'ing medieval style, or anything of the sort.. there's not enough quality mesh out there! So this is huuuuuge if you're a roleplayer, and really a must have. the quality of the clothes is what you'd expect about of Damien, nothing but the best, and in all honesty, this makes me want to rp again. So that's one of the rumors floating around, that is nothing short of completely true! FatePlay Mainstore will open in the FateIsland sim, and with it, you'll be able to get some of his most popular costume- like releases for Fantasy Fair, in different colors! So.. make sure to be able to get into that as soon as it opens! You really don't want to be left behind.

Rumor also has it that Berry has done another Meme challenge. This week is all about Bucketlists. I guess this has a specially space in my heart because.. Talia Castellano has passed away from her battle with cancer. You might remember her for this little bit: 

At any rate, I was really sad to hear she passed, but she did leave behind her bucketlist. It was posted on facebook, and you can find it in that link, and the idea is.. we do her bucketlist for her. Just one, or all of the things, it doesn't matter, but I think that list really makes us realize how beautiful life is, and how to appreciate the little things in life. Pesonally, me this weekend, I'll be sending a message in a bottle, I can't wait! But.. now I have to think of an SL bucketlist. And this wasn't easy, guys, specially since in SL, you are free to do as you wish, and so many of my things have already come true.. it's hard to pick a couple.. so.. I guess I'll try, don't sue me if it turns out to just be funny, because.. I can't think of anything and I'll be probably writting it down while it comes to my mind. Don't hate too hard!

1. Remove all bling, body oil, and clicky heels from the grid. Bothing bothers me in sl more than this, seriously, I see it, and I want to stab my eyes out. Bling is not cute, no matter how you put it. It wasn't cute in 07, muchless now. Body oil makes me think you need a shower. And the clickie shoes thing.. just.. urgh, heels don't sound so loud, if I can hear from the other end of the store, I'm going to think you're King Kong in heels. No. Just no. I would love to figure out a way to murder these things out of the grid. 

2. I'm probably going to get hell for this but.. I would have fun making a script to pop huge prim boobies: Dear God. You've probably seen it, the boobs that are bigger than the whole body. I want to get a needle and pop them. I know.. I know this sounds terrible, but.. that's the only thing I can think of. It would be so much fun to like.. make a needle that would pop them. :x that's all I'm saying, I'm going to get the Tango girls after my butt for this. I sorry! 

3. Own a Harry Potter adult sim: Okay, so what i mean by this is.. there's much more to Harry Potter than Hogwarts, don't get me wrong, love me some Hogwarts, but the kiddy rp.. not always my style, sometimes I want to have some evil wicked dark witch fun. And not have to teach. A ministry sim, and everything would be awesome! with a muggle London around too so people can rp muggles too, that would be sooooo much fun! Yeah.. pervs, you thought I was going for sexy time. Psyche! 

4. Own a prefab store: I'm trying really really hard to learn how to make mesh, so I want to open up a prefab home store. It would be fun, and I think sl needs more of the selection for family homes, so yeah! that's one of the dreams I'm working to achieve. 

5. Stay away from drama: Lol, if only it could happen. SL is always going to be filled with drama. I just.. I wish I could stay away from it, and not even hear about it for a week. Too much to ask? Urgh.

So that's really all I can think of, and... we'll see if that even ever happens, but.. they're cool ideas! Maybe one day. Until then, I'll keep up with my blogging and learning how to work photoshop. Enjoy the credit guys!

Your Skin and Bones Turn Into Something Beautiful

So the Cosmetic's fair is coming. And.. I'm really picky about cosmetics. I like them to be natural, to feel like something I would wear, not a clown make up! Subtle and beautiful is my style. So.. I fell in love immidiately with this eyeliner option that they had, it's so.. dramatic, but at the same time, so pretty. I layered it with another make up layer I had from Dead Apples because.. it's my favorite make up option ever, I think, I'm a huge fan of lip gloss. And there's also a new release from {le fil casse}. This headband is one of the most adorable things ever. I mean, it's no secret I'm like the Blair Waldorf of SL. If it's a headband, I'm buying it. I don't care. So.. I'm totally in love with this pack, and the color selection is just so cute and innocent. I had to do a head shot just to show how amazingly perfect this head band is. Let Me Come Home

So much newness, so little time. For starters.. Did you know Lelutka has new hair?

Well, if you didn't, you know now. The new styles have kind of a vintage style to them. Sort of 1920's kind of hair style, and one with a cute little cap on top that reminds me of the Renaissance period, something you'd see in like the Borgias. Totally adorable. The one I'm wearing today is Gloria. For some reason, I wear it, and I keep thinking about like.. Downton Abbey. But then again, I'm totally obsessed with that show right now. I'm seriously loving how vintage is starting to get in style now. Love love love.

Yummy is also one of my favorite places to go for jewelry, I love their styles! They're not over the top, and they're rather adorable and original. Their Collabor88 item does not fail. It's totally adorable, and they have it in both, black and white, and multi colored. Personally, I'm more of a classic/safe fashionista, so.. I stuck with the black and white, and I totally love this piece.

Leri Miles Designs also has a new release out, it's a cute little dress that is trending lately, kind of goes with the whole bold yet simplistic trend that is going on right now. More of a geometric style, and I'm totally loving this dress.

To the Ends of the Earth Would You Follow Me?

So today is my wedding anniversary, and when this song started playing on my rdio account, it inspired me, and moved me, because.. that's what love is all about? Despite the hardships of life, and the difficulties, forgive, move on, and follow your partner to the ends of the earth. My husband and I have been married for two years, and though recently he did break my heart, and doubts still flood my mind, I have no hesitation when I say that to the ends of the world I would follow him. No one knows me like he does. He has made me grow, and inspires me to try to fix myself day at a time. It's because of him that I have been able to deal with the pain that losing my daughter caused, and it's because of him that I still live. So today, I ask you, my dear readers. Whom would you follow to the end of the earth?

Love is in the air, and I do love me some of the things that Acid Lily brings forth. I have to admit, as time passes, the quality of the designers is beginning to up. That's one of the things that I enjoy about events such as this, new designers come, and you get to see some new talent, and discover it before it reaches the big leagues and the big names of Second Life. One of the newest additions, which I have to say I have nothing but love thus far, and will be keeping an eye out for the future, is Cake. I love cake, so.. with the name alone it got me. This top is so basic, but adorable at the same time, and they also have this cute dress that I hope I do get time to blog, and honestly.. though it's simple, and looks like it's not much, I'm simply in love with their style.

I paired it off with a jacket by Wunderland, and their jeans, I do believe that a huge thing about making a simple piece speak, and add character to it, is layering! So this jacket added just what it needed, and to give it a simple out and about look I added one of their new releases, some simple gray jeans to it. And I am also wearing it with flat boots. I honestly just wanted a causal  and lovely feel to it to add to the simplicity and beauty to today's love theme.

Day In and Day Out

And so the new year starts, and the old year goes. Day in, day out. There it is, really. Funny.. once you start getting older, it all just starts blending together, days, months, years... it's all really pretty much the same. I thought the title of this song was very fitting, even though it is not the mood of the song, it just.. the title very much describes what I feel with the new coming of the year. Year in, year out.

And now, for the first post of the year, now that I got unlazy and what not with all that good.. yummy.. yummy food.. what should we talk about? Well, let's start with Blueberry and one of their newer designs. I had the pleasure of meeting Blueberry over at Crack Den, which is one of the sims that I roleplay at, and after talking, I really got inspired to blog once I got home. And so, here it is, this is one of her newest releases, this little mesh suit. I personally love the bow, it really makes it. I normally hate body suits. Hate. But the bow really did make me fall in love. Darn it. I do kind of wish it had more draping work to it, like along with the texture, but overall, I do love it, and the price isn't half bad either, which is always one of the good things about Blueberry's designs. They're gorgeous, and they don't really dent the wallet too much.

Then we have D!va as well! I went on a tiny little shopping spree, which I really shouldn't. But I'm a woman, sue me, shopping is like.. wired into my DNA. So, I got this very cute hair style, side pony tail, that I've been dying to have. The bow changes colors to match your outfit, or you can do away with it completely. Personally, I like bows. I do.. I think everything in my outfit today has a bow but the necklace.

Come Break Me Down

I'm lately totally obsessed with 30 Seconds to Mars, and I was watching the music video for The Kill, and I totally got inspired for this shoot! Mad Pea is doing a new hunt in this creepy hotel, and I just had to do something involving this song, so.. yes! I hope you enjoy the dark creepy theme for the pictures!

I do have to admit though.. there's nothing creepy about what I'm wearing in this picture! First of all, new release for Wunderland! And I'm crazy about this jeans! They have camo, studs, and regular jeans.. I stuck with the regular jeans for this just because they looked marvelous. AND they fit with some boots, ladies! So huge plus on that one. Though designers.. I'm still going to beg. Make more jeans to fit inside of boots! That would so be a dream come true. New Year's Resolution for all of you out there, maybe? :P.

So... I helped build yesterday, I feel accomplished because I suck at it, and yet I did a pretty ok job at it! So.. all tired and all, I decided to work on the post.. and fell asleep on the computer. Yikes! But.. we made a grungy little fightclub! Yay! So what better way to make it risque than by throwing on some lingerie, and looking sexy there? Yup! My song of inspiration today- Dream a Little Dream of Me. You guessed it. It's so sexy, and for some reason, I'm really into Jazzy Blues songs right now, so you'll just have to deal with it, because they're awesome!

And now for something completely different. Well, not really.. but.. close! I wanted to look smexy, as I said, and there's no better way of doing that then by putting on some lingerie from Blacklace. When I think Lingerie, there's only two names that pop into my mind really, well, foremost, there's Blacklace, and there's TGIS that recently changed names. I love their texture detail, attention to detail, and the fact that it's soooo sexy! So, I got two items for your viewing pleasure today, and I really hope that you do enjoy it! One is a sexy pink number, and the other.. a little more festive, has mistle toe on the bows and everything! But! Darling, Here Lies Love.

Nothing like a soulful song to start the day.. or in my case, end it. Soothing melody, yet at the same time has a beat that makes you feel strong, powerful, and sexy.. God I love Diana Krall. Darn you Colbert for introducing me to this amazing songstress. So.. since Colbert shared with us, and gave her the Colbert bump.. I have to pass on.. her voice is extremely sexy, and her beats are amazing, the perfect song for a sexy little Saturday morning.

So.. now that we got our musical little note out of the way.. I love feeling like a million bucks in Second life, now.. what I mean is.. I love to look classy, and beautiful, normally I would call myself like.. I don't know.. I would sound pretentious, but I guess, a way to say it, without sounding pretentious is that I take a lot of my fashion queues from people like Kate Middleton, and Michelle Obama in my daily style. A signature style that makes you feel feminine, yet powerful. And that's what today is all about, how to look sexy and classy at the same time. Strong and powerful, yet with a hint of class and femininity that will have eyes darting your way at all times.

MichaMi has always been one of my favorite stores in SL. I found them.. I'd like to say at least a year ago? Or two.. ? When you're in SL time kind of merges together.. so hard to tell, the point is.. I found them in the Dressing Room back in the day, and since I saw them, I fell in love! Their styles were so fashion forward, and gorgeous! So.. I'm highlighting two of their newest releases, two dresses that, if you're in  that same style that I am, are just a must have for every fashionista in SL!

I've Got to Remeber This is Just a Game...

I've always loved 30 Seconds to Mars. Their music is so ... calming and at the same time motivating. Odd. But the song "It's a Beautiful Lie" Reminds me of this pixelated world we all live in. It's a Beautiful lie, the perfect denial, we get lost in this world.. but at the end, we have to remember that it's just a game.

Ok, so that's it for my musical note and feeling for the day, I did this shoot centered around this song. I wanted something a little darker to go along with this new awesome outfit from Plastik for Lazy Sunday.. and I found this pose set with the bird from Ploom, and just added it all together to create a darker/melancholic type feel to it.

Oh, Also! I was thinking of adding another section of the blog for cool finds to take pictures at. Picturesque places and what not.. So, make sure to drop a comment and let me know! If it's so, then I can compile a list and keep it active through my travels in SL. I know that many good bloggers, photographers, and lovers of SL art and fashion like to see new places, so, I guess let me know! Drop a comment, and voila.

Let's dive right into the fashion, shall we? So.. I'm still wearing my Exile hair today because I do love it, and I wanted to show just how versatile it is. It can have a very loving/romantic feel to it.. or it can have more of a normal feel to it, or whatever it is you pair it with, like I have today.

Clothes.. There is a new release from Insatiable Fashions, which is the bra that I'm wearing on the first picture. I completely love it! I think also paired with a blazer and showing or something, it would also look adorable. Maybe I'll try it out next post! The bra also comes with a cute little black thong.

Lazy Sunday is out, and I'm digging this outfit they came up with! The Corsair outfit comes with the pants, shirt, and shoes! The shoes are with prim feet, so you will have to fidget around with it to get the colors right, but all in all, love! They also have a cute little dress out, and the same outfit as I'm wearing, except this time with yellow'ish top.

All I Want Is You

Today's my birthday, and first official day back from Orlando. So no more crappy laptop, no more difficult graphics to work with, just pure awesomeness. Yay! Update on my grandmother, she's doing much better, but sadly, she does have a mass in her stomach the size of a soccer ball, and it is malignant, meaning it's a cancer tumor. Now, because of her age, she can't go through chemo, nor can she handle a major surgery to remove it, so the only course of action doctors have is to give her radiology treatment to stop the growth. She's going for a totally of 18 rounds, she's got 14 left, I think. Meanwhile the mass is pressing against her lungs, and heart, making it difficult for her to breath, or move. Her lungs are producing a lot of liquid, and she's getting drained every other day, around 500-1000 mL each time, so she's in home hospice now. However, she's the strongest woman that I've ever met. At 90, she's not complaining of pain, or anything, she has a strong will, and is stubborn as ever. She says her legacy has been to "Make the bad good, and the good better." To this day she keeps fighting and being strong, and defying every single diagnosis and prognosis thrown at her. God is working a miracle, and I ask that if you believe, you pray for her so that she can still keep this attitude and strength. So, that's where I've been for the last two weeks, hence the lack of activity in both SL and the blog, though I did try to keep up with it while she took naps. Not too well.

Any who, now that explanations are out of the way, I'm doing a quick little post before I go out to celebrate birthday time. Woo! So, TDR is out, and I'm loving milk motion boots, and the Label Motion Pose set that they're selling, so for sure worth a check up at the TDR round up for the week. Auxiliary is also there with the cute little corset that I'm wearing, and I'm a huge fan of that set, I think I have the monochromatic tones of it that I got during the black friday set.

Exile, new release! Normally I'm not a huge fan of accessories in the hair, like flowers, or sea shells or what not. I love bows, scarves, and hats and the sort, but not like.. you know, that kind of additives and stuff. But this hair style is soooo sweet, love how it cascades and with the flowers it gives a truly romantic feel that I completely love.

Finally, Decoy is having a sale until 30th, with some /free/ fatpacks! The jeans I'm wearing are totally and completely free, for a fat pack! And I believe there's also a huge sale going on. Everything in the store is 50% down from the original price. Seriously, RUN! Hair, clothes, shoes, amazing quality and free fat packs, and it's only until the 30th! You only have like six days. RUN!

Ah, don't you love the smell of fresh post in the morning?

I don't know, I've never smelled it. But hopefully it smells good, since that's what I'm doing.

Lately I've seen a lot of people do blogs in sl, and I've done many a things in sl, but never blogged. And if there's two things that I'm good at, it's writing, and looking hot in sl. So why not?

So here's my first post for the day.. week... EVER!

I went to the dressing room blue last night, even though they seem to be going down in quality at times, but you never know! You can always score some cute stuff.. I got lucky yesterday, I scored a sweet dress from MONS for only 70L, which, for the quality of this dress, it really is a steal. Paired it with some dark tights from {Mon Tissu} and an updo from [Burley] And I was done and ready to head out. Easy quick look for a cocktail party, or for when you want to look classy.
