So, there's two things in my agenda today before I head into the oblivion that sucks out my life that we call here "the hospital". I'm going to be gone for a little bit, I hope, but just in case, I wanted to do one last blog post before heading out, just because I missed working on pictures really, and there are two things that stole my attention today. First off...

Monday Meme. Oh, and Berry. It's after midnight. Hence... I did do the blog in time. You know. On Monday. UNLIKE SOME OF US. Kidding. I have nothing but love for that wonderful mango loving woman. But today, it's all about what huds and what not we use in SL in order to make it easier to take pictures. So Im posting my raw shot with the things that I use in here so you can see what my interface is when I take pictures. And just why the heck I lag out so much.

1. Anypose: Berry blogged this one too but it's just that amazing, okay? It lets you control your eyes, no more blinking while taking pics, and it lets you have facial expressions if you want too. Amazeballs.

2. Animare: How many times have you gotten your hand stuck in your skirt, or something? It majorly sucks! And it's like.. 30 minutes AT LEAST to properly fix in photoshop, or do the layering trick with PS where you have to take more than one shot. But let's face it, it takes away from your shadows, and it messes up everything in the world. 

3. Kokopelli HUD: This HUD is actually free, and though I'd like to be able to organize it, let's be honest like.. I never will, I'd rather just endless scroll through there if I'm out taking a picture and let people laugh at me. I think that HUD has about 200 poses, and still no where even near the cap.

4. Phototools. It comes in Firestorm, and I use it to do a quick shot with shadows, most of the time I'll just layer that shot on top of this one, and just keep the shadows, saves me time and what not. And I love that phototools just lets you adapt everything graphic wise in one little window. Makes firestorm my go to place for pictures, even though it's laggier. 

My second theme of the day has to do with... well. .feeling alienated, really. It's no secret that I used to be a huge rp'er. I miss it to this day, so so much, but with blogging and designing, I just don't have time for anything anymore. But I still do have a twitter account, where I follow some of my old friends that rp. Sometimes it's hilarious, and I wonder really if I used to look that crazy rp'ing, because, I swear, as an outsider reading these, you'd think this is a bad episode of some badly scripted reality show.

But here's the thing though, I was looking there, and came across something that I personally found offensive. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything, but at any rate I did. I said that it was offensive, and their reply was "Oh, it's just an rp post. I'm fat too". I had to stop for a second. Hold on. So let me get this straight. The fact that you're rp'ing makes it okay to be insulting towards others? Or post things that can be insutling? And why does it matter your size, or color, or anything? I honestly think, it's like the "n" word. If you don't want other people calling you it, then you shouldn't call others of your race it either. Just.. no. It's wrong. At least I feel that way. So I have to wonder now.. just.. where do we draw the line?

Putting aside the second issue, let's focus on how far can we go with our words and actions to be offensive, and still be okay with it being just a character. My belief is, if you say it, you feel at least in a part inside of you that it's true. Regardless of a character or not, you're giving credibility to the problem. Now, there are other people aside of you that read that, people that don't rp, people that don't know even what rp is. And when they read these things, they take it to heart. You hurt them. Even while rp'ing. Your actions and words ic can break someone oocly. Now.. it might just be me, I don't know. Maybe I've just been away from RP for too long now, but this is genuinely how I feel. So I just have to pose this question.. just how far is too far on what we say in an RP account?

Okay.. so.. Did you guys know that I'm obsessed with the color teal lately? Or anything close to it? Kind of I am, really, and.. just.. I got this top today, and I went crazy with the color scheme of it, and just.. it grew into a burst of pink, and still I freaking love this outfit like.. woah, just.. I didn't plan for the skirt and top to go together so perfectly, it's crazy, it's like they were meant for each other. I love how the belly shows, and the jewels in the top, and.. even though.. you all know, I /hate/ Lola's, they come with the attachment for it! So.. win win, for people like me, we can still wear the top. Then.. I just.. the skirt from Blueberry is one of my favorites, I'll be honest, and I should wear it more often. Hair from Alice Project, because.. if you get the Infinity Pack, which is a little more expensive, like.. you can forever change your color with just one purchase, or additional HUD's can be purchased too, up to you. Then I finished it off with the shoes from Fashionably dead, and leggings from The Secret Store. In pink, of course. I had to keep the theme going. Over all, I'm very happy with the end result, and just.. I think I might forever wear this outfit.

Here I Dreamt I Was an Architect

So.. I'll admit, I've gone way overboard with the Arcade. Really, but.. this has got to be my favorite set of Arcade things ever, so much amazing things, so much talent, so much to play with! I decided to create a full bedroom using mostly Arcacde items, and using the amazing skybox from 22769 for the Challenge, available all this month. So.. I was lucky enough to finish the Tres Blah set. Yeah, I get to brag about that, I mean.. I worked hard for it! But.. It has got to be my favorite piece of furniture in SL thusfar, honestly, and I do adore the game sets from Second Spaces, and the piggies.. I had to make my piggies play them! Look! Devil piggy is about to get arrested too while he's playing with Cupid! 

I honestly wanted to do something that reverted somewhat to childhood, because to me, that's what the Arcade this round is all about, appealing to that inner kid inside all of us. I mean.. those Zigana robots.. how they talk even? I've never been this excited about anything ever! And the dolls from The Secret Store.. I mean.. even the packaging is adorable! I'm honestly thinking about redoing my room, even with the art dummy bed that.. well, is kinda bland, for a rare. But really, amazing, all of it is so amazing, I couldn't be happier with this round. I'm clean out of linden, and not even going to complain about it! Hopefully you guys make it in, because.. really, this round is extremely worth it, a round of applause to all the designers that went above and beyond our expectations. And while we sleep, our dreams will make the things around us have a life of their own, our dream run the world wild, and that's really what this picture is all about.

Exciting news! Big huge exciting news! Truth has new stuff, and even though they're getting rid of truth district, which is a shame... really, like.. where the heck are we supposed to shop from next when he's having a sale?! Because when I read this in Berry's blog, I about seriously pooped my pants guys, and like.. really, I never use poop when blogging, but this is some really serious business!

Imma Blogging So You'll Have a Yule That's Cool!

And we continue through our jazzy journey and Christmas music.. Don't hate me! This one has a swing beat to ti that I adore, and with this outfit, I think your Yule might just be cool.

So what do I have for you now? Oh.. You're going to love this...

The skin today is Essences. Note! It does NOT come with the freckles, the freckles are PXL! However, I thought they still accentuated the skin and added a flair of originality to this amazing skin. It's available NOW at TDR Fusion, and for a low price, I believe it was 75L Or something, and it comes with three other make up options that you can purchase.

Remember how I said that one of my favorite stores ever is The Secret Store? Found them a couple years back, and now that they're actively making mesh wear, Oh.... I'm in heaven. And they just made my Yule cool, by making this little outfit at a sales price. The top and the skirt are both 50L each, and the stockings come in black, white, and red with polka dots, and they're 35L each for a limited time! Now.. I'm not a big fan of themed clothes, but the stockings can be used for whatever you wish! Year round deal, really, and at that bargain price, you can't pass out on. The skirt.. come on people, it's black! It's like the most universal thing out there, you can wear black any time of the year, and with anything, and it still looks good. As far as the shirt goes, that's the only really themed thing that's there, and the deer is so chique that unless you make it Christmasy, it can pass as a dorky shirt. Really though.. that deer is adorable with the glasses! Just look at it!

Leri Miles Designs is also having an Advent Christmas event, and that's where these boots are from, they're adorable! And full mesh, the detail on it is fabulous, and it works perfectly with the little The Secret Store outfit.

Ah, Don't you love the first of each month? I do, and I'll let you know just why that is.

Yes indeed, if you haven't heard, Fameshed is an event where some of the best mesh creators in the grid get together, and sell some of their collection in the Fresco sim. Oh, yeah, heads up.. fameshed has indeed moved! So, time to update those lm's. 

Now, they do have a lot of adorable things, my favorite was a little ensemble I put together with three of the items that they have in there. First of all. Tee*fy.. One of my all time favorite stores. I absolutely love their work, and their mini skirt for fameshed is just what my inventory was missing. Now.. as you also know, I'm a huge lover of The Secret Store, and they have joined the Fameshed crew this month with a little top that is just absolutely adorable and extremely vintage! And those shoes by NYU.. Need I say more? So.. I went for a very retro chic look for today with items that I found in fameshed. Totally worth the lag and the trip if you guys can make it out there!

I Sense There's Something in the Wind.. That Seems Like Tragedy's at Hand

Ah, another Halloween themed post, because there haven't been enough around the blogging circuit, right? :P

Well, This one has to do with Plastik, and something that will probably only be available for today. Lazy Sunday is once again upon us, and it is Plastik today that wins it, for 75L You get an amazing little dress, two different pairs of eyes, shoes, a pumkin outfit, and three different mesh tops. Sure, a little Halloweenish on all of them. But come on guys! 75L!

I'm kind of going to be focusing more on the stuff that can be worn year round, like these amazing mesh eyes, and this amazing little dress. Sure, the dress has a skull, but come on! It's adorable, and seriously.. it's ornate enough so that it can pass for year round wear. So, Plastik, thanks for making me feel like Halloween is Christmas, and with that, we will bring another Nightmare Before Christmas related post.

Also, on the background, that would be one of my favorite sims too, the Mischief Managed sim, and right at the entrance of the Dark Forest, because nothing says Halloween more than going for a midnight stroll in the Dark Forest.

I did tell you this was my favorite movie of all time, didn't I? You'll just have to deal with it, lovies. :P.

Saturday Look, brought by The Secret Store

Ok, so it's not a secret, I adore the Secret Store, their styles are uber chic, so cute, and I am completely in love with their designs. So today.. I really just dug through my inventory and tried to clean it out... and forgot some of the old cute stuff that I had bought over the past.

For example, this old hair style by D!va, normally, I'll admit, not the biggest D!va fan, but this hair from collabor88 is super cute! And it's mesh.. and I'll say something about mesh... mesh is the best thing that has ever happened to hair! I mean.. no longer having your hair stick inside you through shots.. gotta love that.

I also found this old skirt, and older top still for sale at The Secret Store.. Again.. normally I'd flip because it's not mesh.. but.. never sticks inside of my body, looks cute, and is so well textured, all I have to say is.. Love. It's odd, I really am an advicate for shopping mesh only now.. but.. I have to admit, there are some none mesh items that still make me drool.

Fridays with Sansa

It's friday again... and I think this would make my blog a week old? Or something like that.. I think it's a week either today or tomorrow, though it already feels like I'm doing it forever. The only reason I know it's a week it's because its Fi*Friday.. Fifty Linden Friday, and TDR. Can you tell Fridays are my favorite shopping day?

In all honesty though, I was a little sad face at this week's fashion selection.. Just wasn't much that I really cared for, however, I did find a little number at the TDR, where I snuck in early.. I know, I know.. Bad Sash.. But I always do it, so deal with it. Illmatic joins the TDR line up this friday with this little cute partial mesh number that I have on. Totally love it! mixed with some pumps, even with all the cut out, which normally I'm not a big fan of.. it looks cute, classy, and fashion forwards.

Ok, so one of my all time favorite stores in sl for quite a while has been The Secret Store. Maylee Oh is extremely talented, specially now that her items have.. Oh, God, dare I say it? Mesh. Yes, I'm a total mesh whore and I'm not afraid to say it. I believe mesh is the best thing to happen in sl in all of the six years or so that I've been in it.

Anyways, if you haven't checked out The Secret Store, you have to! There's a new release out now, a small babydoll that is extremely cute and totally vintage. They have also the oversized sweater that I blogged about earlier still for 75L, so if you haven't grabbed it. GO! Go before she realizes she left it out and takes it down. Blacklace for Energy

Good lingerie is hard to find in sl. It's either too expensive, or not built right.. leaving a lot of us girls.. just.. frustrated as heck!

One of my favorite places for lingerie now that mesh is out is Blacklace, and I have great news! Turns out.. this club or something.. Energy, is opening up in sl. And for a short period of time they have a huge room of freebies from amazing stores, from Hucci, to deetalez, and even blacklace, really adorable stuff for both men and women. It's something worth checking out.

I'd post more things from the gift room at Energy, but Dexter is coming up, so enjoy the gift from Blacklace, which is really nothing short of gorgeous. More to come from Energy for sure!

The Secret Store @ Lazy Sunday

It's no secret that I'm totally obsessed with The Secret Store- Been so for ages, and now that Maylee Oh is creating mesh pieces.. it's almost orgasmic. I can't wait for more stuff to come out!

The secret store is partaking today in the Lazy Sunday event, a day where like.. a list of stores sell one or two items for 75L, and they're amazing stores! When I saw The Secret Store being in this week's rounds, I squealed like a little girl, and rushed right over.

Result: Not disappointed at all, in fact.. amazed! I found a gorgeous little mesh oversized sweater, and the cute pumps to go with it, and only spent 150L total. And I got shoes and a top! I call that a win on my end.

So, I say rush over to The Secret Store and get it while you can, because it's amazingballs.
